About Eileen or Fred
Our family has been vacationing in Horseshoe Beach since the early 70's when our Dad discovered Horseshoe with his fishing buddies, accidentally stumbling upon this gem of a fishing spot when looking for a place to refuel their boat . The original red cabin in this location was destroyed in the '92 "Storm of the Century." It was another 10 years before Papa Paul rebuilt on the same site, and this is the house that he built.
What makes this House unique
Quiet location near the end of a dead-end street. Spectacular sunset views over the Gulf. Steps away from the seawall for easy fishing and crabbing right off your private dock. Boat house for one boat. Private dock allows for docking of 2nd boat.

July 4th scalloping trip
we had a larger then normal group this year and this house was perfect. It had plenty of room and beds. The location is excellent for boating and enjoying the sunsets.
The property was beautiful, clean, and the perfect location. The sunsets were amazing and having the additional freezer on the 2nd deck was extremely helpful. The elevator did not work, it would have been nice, but a minor inconvenience. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space.
Great work trip at a fantastic location
This property was perfect! It had everything we needed for our work trip to the area. It had plenty of space, everything we needed in the kitchen, a boat dock, access to the public boat ramp, and had a bonus of a fantastic view from the lovely deck (especially for sunset views). The place was clean and had plenty of linens and towels with lots of space for us all to work and lounge. The only issue we had was trying to do work from the internet which ran slow but the place was so beautiful and comfortable it didn't matter. Would definitely stay here again!
We enjoyed our recent stay at Mullet Pointe in Horseshoe Beach. The home is beautiful, spacious, clean, and fully furnished. The best part...the view and sunset. The owner, Eileen, is helpful and friendly and responds quickly to questions. We had a blast and we will be back.
We are so glad to hear you had a nice stay. We hope you’ll be back soon!
Great House / Great Location
We love staying at this house. I have two recommendations for the owners:
1) a dirt catching doormat added at the side entry door near the steps.
2) a better clothes dryer.
The owners are very nice and communicate quickly if needed.
We love hearing feedback from our guests, because we don’t know what we don’t know! We’ve ordered a new outdoor mat and a clothes dryer. Hopefully you’ll be able to return soon to enjoy the fishing and peaceful sunsets over the Gulf.
Quiet and relaxing
Booked this for our annual girls getaway to relax and catch up. Beautiful home and cute tiny fishing town. Very seasonal so be sure to ask if any local establishments are open or prepare to drive for restaurants.
