Joe was very easy to work with and took care of all our needs.
Balcony & view are amazing. 2nd floor was new for me (usually higher) but proved to be ideal and super convenient for getting down to beach, pool, lobby,car, etc. Joe is a kind and highly attentive caretaker and does not miss a detail.

Beautiful views from balcony but so so on accommodations
Owner was very friendly, but the Accommodations are VERY outdated! You sink into the sofa and chair. Very uncomfortable. Queen size mattress is very cheap and crunchy (reminds me of a youth mattress). Sheets, pillowcases are very dated. Kitchenette is pretty well stocked. Needs new cookware (only skillet doesn’t have a handle). No beach towels and limited beach chairs (no cooler). BUT the shower is awesome. Dark but very powerful. We’ve stayed in other condos at the Apollo, but this one, unfortunately, was sub-par.
Really disappointed in the Apollo. We’ve stayed there in the past and thoroughly enjoyed it. This year was under newer management and was not impressed. Not very friendly or personable. We were also told No alcoholic beverages from either Sunset Grille or BYOB (even in plastic cups) at the pool ... In the manager’s words, if you violate rules, you are Trespassing. We’re not even big drinkers, retirement age, and far from our partying days ... but we were on vacation and thought that “policy” was pretty strict. Just didn’t get a good vibe from the staff at all. In the future, we won’t be staying at The Apollo. Too many other options along the beach.
I am really shocked at your negative review of my property & our staff at Apollo. Your comments to me during your stay were always positive, just like so many of my reviews from my tenants who return often. My property is clean perfect & doesn’t deserve the negative comments you made!
Perfect Ocean view from the balcony!
We definitely enjoyed our time at the Apollo condo's and had a fantastic time at the beach. Marco Island is very classy and a wonderful place to visit. Our only complaint was the key system in the condo. You have to use a metal key to unlock the elevators, to get into the building, to get to the pool are, to the gym, etc. It is very cumbersome and annoying when you're carrying all your beach stuff. If the condo could switch over to key fobs it would be immensely better than the old-fashioned keys. Also, there's a restaurant under the condo so a lot of people going in and out from the public, but it didn't bother us at all. Overall, it was a great vacation and we will definitely come back again.
Unit is as pictured, with a nice view of the beach. Somewhat dated, could use a fresh coat of paint, but economical.
Condo is centrally located within walking distance to many of Marcos
best restaurants, movies and shopping centers. Only 45 minutes from
FT. Myers SW Florida International Airport. Numerous wildlife areas,
including the magnificent Everglades are minutes away for wildlife
observation, fishing or just plain strolling through. Naples
philharmonic center and many other activities are a short drive away,
as well as quick access to Medical Hospitals and facilities should
there be a need and a health care center is located on Marco Island.
Our Beach is second to none in natural beauty, shelling and the
Sunsets are breathtaking. SUGGESTION: There are other listings for
condos in this building, but be sure to rent from an owner who takes
pride in the unit, lives nearby (not far out of state) and insures
the perfect cleanliness and up to date furnishings!
