Newly completed in Sept. 2015. This is a luxury unit at an affordable price. The bottom unit of this duplex has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms with a living room that leads out to a nice patio with BBQ. In one bedroom there is a cal-king bed, in two other bedrooms there are queen beds and in a fourth smaller bedroom there is a full over full bunk bed. This unit should sleep up to 9 to 10 people and accommodate to 2 to 3 families. The top unit is a little larger and may accommodate a few more people. The number for the top unit is 3954139. This property is located in beautiful Misson Beach on the ocean side of Mission Blvd. You need only walk one short block to get to the sandy beach. Multiple families can get together to relax and play. These rentals offer a living area with tile and wood floors and ceiling fans. Air conditioning is available for those hot summer days. Bedrooms with luxury beds. You will have a full luxury kitchen with dish washer. A washer and dryer set are in the unit. There are linens for the beds and bathrooms. There is a shared roof top deck with an ocean view. You can enjoy relaxing out on the patio by the BBQ.

We got out of Minnesota to relax in the great weather of Mission Beach in 2004. We finished building these units in 2015. We love the beach and enjoy renting our property out and visiting with our guest. Luxury but affordable for guest to come and relax and play.

We bought this property in 2004. It had two small cottages on it. Finally in 2014 we were able to start building this duplex on the property. It's been along time waiting, but its worth it. This location is perfect for vacationers to walk to many activities in Mission Beach. Located on Island Court just north of Belmont Park makes it a great family vacation spot.

What makes this house unique

The rentals are big enough for multiple families to enjoy time together. Separate AC units in the rooms to make setting the temperature to your individual comfort. Large roof top deck with great views. We provide Bikes, Boogie boards, Beach towels, Horse shoes, Bocce ball, Valley ball set, Sand toys, Games, along with your normal house items.

Rental of all rentals

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! We came a few hours early and were greeted warmly by the home owner. His tour through the rental was thorough but short! Everything was neat and clean and in excellent working condition. The surrounding area is well fit with all sorts of eating establishments and ice cream parlours, but the house kitchen and the BBQ grill invited for home cooking. There is no unexpected noise coming from the near Belmont Park. The roof patio is presenting some stunning views as far as the beach. If you are uncertain of what you have signed up for; don't be! 753 Island Drive in San Diego will give you everything you expect from a getaway you have longed for. The second unit -in case somebody is wondering - appears as if it was not there. No need to mention any unusual concerns.

So convenient, clean, easy and fun!

We had a great time at this house and I cannot think of a single negative thing to tell you! We had two families (4 adults and 3 kids) and there was plenty of room. The house is not huge, but it is very comfortable and efficient. We stayed in the lower part of the house. There were other renters in the upper part and we did not have any issues with noise. Dennis, the owner, could not have been more helpful. He provided boogie boards and bikes and toys. The kitchen was very well equipped. Everything worked well. The location was convenient to restaurants, Belmont Park, the beach, and the bay. We rented kayaks from a store across the street and walked them to the bay. It was easy to find fun things to do and still have time to hang around at the house and enjoy our family time together. I highly recommend this house.

Close to beach, restaurants and Belmont park. Air conditioned! Nice interior.

Great space for large family. Everything was clean, modern and in working condition. Huge TV in the living room. Really nice having 4 bathrooms. Air conditioners in every room for individual temp control. Close to everything including beach, restaurants and Belmont park. Quick drive to Sea World. Bikes, beach chairs, boogie boards and more provided. Owner was very friendly and accommodating.

We loved our stay at the beach house. It was our first time renting a beach house even though we've done annual trips to SD for 11 years. It was definitely more than what we could have expected. The upstairs neighbors were friendly. The owners were extremely nice, hospitable & accommodating. The house had everything we needed & very spacious. My family & I thoroughly enjoyed our trip!

The owners were gracious and the property was new and clean. We had plenty of room and it was so nice to have 4 full bathrooms. Everything was very comfortable and lots of chairs and bikes were a bonus. We will definitely be back. Book this one, you'll love your stay!!!

Best home away from home...

This was the best home away from home choice for our family vacation. My family and I were very pleased with this home (new, clean, furnished beautifully and cozy). We were greatful that the owner was so flexible, attentive and kind. The extras (bikes, boards, beach towels, etc.) provided were definitely a bonus. We were impressed with how well the home was designed (every space was used and had a purpose). We are a family of 11 (4 adults and 7 kids, ages 10-17). The unit fit us all so perfectly. The convenience of a 3rd and especially a 4th bathroom makes a big difference with a large group. Another part of smart designing. The rooftop was great for morning breakfast and watching the fireworks from Sea World every night. The location was the reason I chose this property (steps away from the beach and attractions). I will definately look to rent this unit again when we come back to the area.

The San Diego Airport is located 6 miles away. Major attractions: Belmont Park's Famous Roller Coaster is less than 1 block, Sea World 2.5 miles, San Diego Zoo 8.25 miles, Balboa park 8.25 miles, Wild Animal Park 25 miles, Lego-land 1 hour, Disneyland 1.5 hrs and Temecula Wine Country 1 hour.

Rates are weekly, Saturday to Saturday.
Any stay that goes into a two week period but not the full two weeks from Sat. to Sat. will be charge at a higher rate or not rented out at all, at the discretion of the owner.
On all rates there is a 11.05% City tax and Cleaning fee of $275.
Security/Damage deposit of $600, due at time of booking.
Security/Damaged Deposit will be refunded after your stay.
Full rates are due at the time of booking or 60 days prior to your stay.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
