too small for 2

  • 4 of 5

We ate out almost every meal so the kitchen facilities did not matter.

Bedroom and bath quite cramped but we still enjoyed the place.

Probably our fault for not focusing on the room sizes. This unit and 8

were the only ones available when I looked for condos in town in our

price range.

Location was great and we were pleased to be close to town.

Carpeting was dingy but no bugs.

Owner's Response: The carpets have been cleaned since this rental. This is a 2 room efficiency. The kitchen/living room is good size as the pictures show. Many couples have stayed here over the years without complaining of its size. For an efficiency it is good size at a good price,

Love this apartment

  • 5 of 5

I really enjoyed having the opportunity to live in this apartment. When I moved in, everything was clean and in order by description. Very cozy apartment, in town, but not in the busiest part of town, but minutes away from everything including the ocean. Especially loved the fireplace to curl up next to, and to spend sunny afternoons on the porch.

Didn't really ever run into any problems. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Could Have Been Better

  • 2 of 5

I found the pictures to be misleading as the place was not very clean. The antiquated stove was smudgy and greasy, plates were left in the dishwasher (found after we bought plastic utensils and used my tupperware), towels were left in the washing machine that must have been washed as they smelled like they've been there a while - so they had to be put in the dryer and folded by yours truly, I had to clean the sink and counter before use, the floor could have used a good mopping, the carpets looked as though they hadn't been vacuumed in a while, the tub/shower/hot tub unit (yes all in one) had black mildew along the caulking and wasn't very clean to even think of sitting in it, the pots and pans looked as though they were just rinsed as they had gunk and food left on them and the coffee maker also had to be washed before use. Two tiny towels (about the size of hand towels) were given to us to dry ourselves with (once again, didn't realize the others were left in the washer at the time). I basically paid them to be a maid. The only good thing about this place was the clean fridge and the convenience of it's location and the free Wi-Fi (but you can get that elsewhere), but I will not stay here again. did I mention you could hear thumping and dishes being used in the unit above us, as well as the person who loved sitting just outside a door that doesn't open (which would be a door to the bedroom, between units, I assume). For the price and "rules" left (even a suggestion to leave earlier than the 10:00 am check-out and to call the agency to let them know so the place can be "cleaned"), I expected much better, so this experience was a rather insulting one.

Owner's Response: This the first complaint we have had concerning this cleaning service. The unit should be fully cleaned and vacuumed after each usage. From the description it seems that this cleaning was sub par. We can't know of any problems until a renter notifies us or the rental agency. When we are notified of deficiencies, we always do our best to rectify them. Our goal is to have every renter satisfied, so please let us know of a problem as soon as possible.
