In the best location of San Juan. Enjoy a wonderfully relaxing (or exciting) time in our spacious two bedroom/ two bathroom apartment on the beach.

Our building is right on the beach and has direct access to the beach through a private gate. We are located in a wonderful area of Condado Beach where you canwalkto nice restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, one of the best hospitals on the island and many hotels, nightlife and entertainment. Walking east, you will find Ocean Park, a popular 2-mile beach of white sand and lots of watersports to participate in or just watch. There are also playgrounds for children and many child-friendly restaurants and amenities.

Our location is a 12 minute drive from the airport and a 10 minute taxi or bus ride to Old San Juan, the beautiful colonial City. In Old San Juan, you will find beautifully-conserved Spanish architecture, an engaging cultural and art scene and exciting nightlife.

Awesome, Geat Place, Great Expierence!

I was very pleased with the 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo. Both bedrooms have air conditioners and the beds were comfortable and the place was clean and updated. The building is an older building and there was construction going on updating it. The Condo is on the 14th floor of a 21 story building, it faces the city but still a beautiful view. If you look left out of the windows you can see the beach. The building has the biggest pool in the Condado area and is steps away from the beach. I felt safe the entire time I was there, the people are awesome! They do have 24/7 security in the building and security on the beach during the day hours, it is not advisable to be on the beach at night. Luis the property manager took great care of us and gave us great recommendations on where to go and what was available around the area. Luz, the owner was very attentive and helpful as well. I would definitely stay here again!

Everywhere we went we met people that lived there at Condado del Mar. There is night life and amenities within walking distance. Be sure to visit Blonda across the street and to the left. They have great coffee and brunch everyday! The also make great margaritas and a drink with Tito's vodka and fresh squeezed lemonade ginger (its not on the menu you will have to ask for it), . A short walk on the beach to the east (or to the right when looking at the ocean) you will find Pamela's. They have beach side dining and you can rent a beach chair for $10.00 per day and they have restroom access and cocktails available! You are minutes away from everything you would want to do!

STEPS TO THE BEACH,POOL AND RESTAURANTS

Stayed 1 month. Apartment and building is up to date and fully furnished with bedding and towels.

Fans in each room and AC in both bedrooms.Very clean.Manager was very responsive and courteous.Laundry room on first floor. Easy walk to grocery store. The pool is big and clean.

I would highly recommend this apartment to who want to eat in or out.

Short walk to many affordable restaurants.

Unsatisfactory!!!

This an apartment complex located in one of the best areas in San Juan - near the hotels, bars, restaurants and most importantly Condado Beach.

As usual, I found this place on VRBO and was excited about staying here. When I arrived, it wasn't what I thought it would be. Compared to the other apartment buildings around it, this building looks very old and seems like its falling apart.

When I entered the 14th floor (where the condo is located), I was shocked to see all units had wrought iron gates. I got a bad vibe. I did a very quick walk through with Lorena, Property Manger. I should have looked a little closer and asked a few more questions. The biggest complaint I have is in the master bathroom. My girlfriend walked in to use it and immediately came out looking disgusted. The toilet had feces all over it. I now knew this unit was not being kept up. We ended up buying cleaning materials and cleaned the unit ourselves. I called Lorena 6 times to tell her about this and also a problem with the television, no answer. She called me back 24 hours later. I also called Dr. Claudio and have not received a call back to this date. The AC unit in the master bedroom has no control. It gets pretty cold in there and you literally have to get out of bed and unplug it from the wall.

The only positive thing I can say about this review is that it is located in the Condado area, which is the best area in San Juan for entertainment, casinos, restaurants. It's also around 10 to 15 minutes from the airport, Old San Juan and other attractions.

I have travelled to 23 countries and 30 plus states in the past 10 years. I always stay in very nice places. This was not one of them. Overall, I would not stay here again. I would definitely not recommend this apartment.

I'll give this place two stars for the friendly security guards and the location.

Most other buildings that are located directly on the beach like ours are hotels or luxury condos, which charge much higher rates than us. Our building is not new, but it is lovingly and continuously maintained by caring and friendly staff, several of whom were courteous to you and your guests during your stay. 2. Owners use iron gates on the doors for ventilation. We lock the gate and leave the wooden door open so that we can get a nice breeze into the apartment. This was suggested in the materials sent to you. The building has 2 security guards 24-hours a day and we never had security issues in 15 years that I have owned the condo. 3. Carpets on the hallways of each floor are in the process of being replaced by tiles. Work is expected to be completed within the year. Already, new elevators and other improvements have been completed. 4. We have no way of knowing who dirtied the bathroom after your arrival, since you had four guests. As detailed in the instructions that you received, Lorena gives each guest a thorough walk-through of the apartment during which you are ENCOURAGED to inspect everything. In the unlikely event that you find anything to be unsatisfactory, you are asked to let Lorena know and she will correct it immediately. Once you have accepted the keys and we have left the premises, it is impossible to know who dirtied the bathroom. I guarantee you that cleanliness is our utmost priority. 5. The air conditioner in the bedroom was replaced less than a month ago. It has a remote control. The two TVs work well with cable. Instructions were provided. 6. As you explained to us, you used a government phone during your vacation. Your phone does not register the caller’s number, therefore, we had no idea you called since you did not leave any messages. We are always prompt answering calls and I had provided you with my personal number. Lorena lives two blocks away and attends to calls from guests with professionalism and responsiveness. Also, I talked with you before and after your stay, so I don't know why you did not tell us anything. Hope that this expresses our eagerness to provide the best service to our guests. I have no doubt that your experience would have been as pleasant as that of many guests that we've had for over 10 years of excellent service.

Disappointed

Immediately after getting off the elevator, I noticed the dirty stained blue carpet and the stagnant smell. Looking down the hallway was a bit scary, every door had a security door that ironically didn't make me feel safe. This was my first time staying in a condo on vacation, as opposed to a hotel, but was convinced by my brother who had several positive experiences. This was clearly not one of those. I never expected to do some housekeeping on my first few hours of vacation. This property was definitely not to par. I didn't envision myself cleaning the toilet bowl so that I could feel that I was using something sanitary. I also had to wipe off dusty countertops, dirty couches, and sweep unkept floors. What a disappointment! Along the way we noticed the ottoman in the living room was missing a wheel, the master bedroom AC would not shut off unless unplugged and the buttons were missing- we looked everywhere for a remote and couldn't find one. After noticing how things were uncared for, we didn't feel it was sanitary to use any of the items in the kitchen so we bought disposables and even a new sponge. Unfortunately our family vacation was not what we were hoping it would be- boy were we fooled by the pictures and reviews posted. This will be my last time staying at a condo rental. I do not recommend this one.

Perfect for family trip

We went to Puerto Rico for a family vacation over spring break. The apartment/condo was perfect for our four person family. Apartment was clean, and ready for our arrival. Property Manager met us there even though we didn't arrive until almost 3:00a.m. in the morning. We had plenty of towels and linens for our stay. Beds were comfortable. Building was secure, security staff and other residents were very friendly. Pool was wonderful. Direct access to beach. Within a few blocks of many restaurants and stores. Only slight issue was an unwelcome visitor in the bathroom; a cockroach decided to stop by. He promptly met his demise. Other than that it was pretty much perfect.

It was quite a sacrifice for our property manager to wait for your arrival until 3am! Glad that you appreciated it. It would have been nice if you would have let us know that you were that delayed. As I mentioned to you prior to your arrival, the apartment above us had a leak in the bathroom, which was being repaired around that time. This may be why you found an "unwanted visitor" in the bathroom. As you mentioned, our apartment is very clean. Thank you again for your review and hope that you had a great trip home.

Second time, even better

We stayed in this apartment last year. We loved it so much that we brought the whole family for our second visit. Amazingly, our stay was even better. Starting with the easy and trustworthy owner, the very attentive property manager, the nice neighbors and building staff.. Everyone made us feel so special and right at home.

This time, we brought my mother in law and her husband and they stayed in another very nice apartment that this owner has in the same building. So, my inlaws were close, but not too close, lol.

We stayed for 10 days and did not run out of things to see and do. The owners provided us with a list of recommendations that was even more detailed than before and we tried to do as many of the things that she recommended as we could.

We recommend this place very highly to any family or group that wants to have a great time in a safe, clean, comfortable, affordable and totally wonderful place. It is the best.
