Our one week vacation to this beautifully decorated and very welcoming home was fabulous! My husband and I had the greatest time (full of joy and laughter) watching our young grandchildren building sand castles and forts in the sand at the beach, searching for sea shells and sand crabs, swimming and boogie boarding....I took over 500 photos as memories were made. This vacation house was wonderful for our family and we are grateful for the opportunity to have had it as a rental.

Great, beautiful Place
The townhouse was gorgeous. Lots of windows and bright rooms. It was very spacious, we had 5 adults and 2 children and it was big enough to accommodate all of us easily. We had an add'l 3 adults come for 2 days and even those days were fine. No one was bumping into each other. The beds were nice - the bathrooms were immaculate. The master bathroom had a HUGE shower and bathtub. We used the pool for most of the week. The townhouse is very close to the pool and tennis court. The weather was extremely hot and humid for our vacation so the pool was a true blessing. It was never overcrowded and was always super clean and refreshing. We aren't the kind of family that "loves" the beach, so we didn't go down too often, but when we did, it was sometimes difficult to find parking and the meters can get a little expensive at $0.25 for 10 minutes. We finally figured out you can park after 4PM for free on the side streets, so that was good. I would definitely stay here again!! AND I already received my security deposit back! Speedy!!!
Activity and Interests
House is about 2 miles from the beach; community pool and tennis courts within walking distance (community rules, pool rules, and beach rules listed on 'fridge); the Assawoman Canal (a kayaker's delight) is about 1/2 mile; less than 3 miles to major grocery stores; Wawa convenience store, Grotto Pizza (highly recommended), 5 Guys burgers and fries(very highly recommended)and many other pizza shops and restaurants, variety shops, and small boardwalk within 2 miles; community library about 1.5 miles (on kent ave)....7 miles South to Ocean City, MD- big time 'city life,'with huge beach, clubs, taverns, mini-golf, and all kinds of activities; 12 miles North to Rehobeth Beach-lots of retail outlets and larger beach/boardwalk, Nassau Valley Winery just North of Rehobeth on the West side of RT 1; excellent fishing in Indian River Bay, and ocean deep sea and surf fishing (if you have a delaware state fishing license, you can drive on the beach at the state park as long as you are fishing!!!!); excellent state parks for nature walking/hiking, bird watching, fishing (and a nice guarded beach at Indian River if you don't like the crowded beaches in town...around $8 per day for a car load;) Cape May-Lewes Ferry in Lewes (about 14 miles North); several very nice golf courses nearby; Dewey Beach, a hopping little seaside town, is only 7 miles North on RT 1......
NOTE: local police love speeding tourists- watch it!!!! take plenty
of quarters for the parking meters in town....($.25 gets you 10 minutes...it's the going rate in delaware....there are change machines on the main street)....NOTE- local storage for boats, trailers, motorhomes- Bethany Mini Storage,(caged area) 539-9272, another open storage area 539-7455...also Ocean RV Center, 539-3244...(all area code 302)....all 3 are about 4 miles from the house, off Central Ave...several rv and camping facilities within a few miles...most local stores/shops have local detailed maps available....(some maps and restaurant menus can be found in the top kitchen drawer)... the assawoman canal dredging project is now complete for canoeing & kayaking....the canal connects the indian river bay to the assawoman bay....a great way to enjoy mother nature....
DIRECTIONS TO PROPERTY: going South on US RT 1, pass Rehobeth Beach
and Dewey Beach. When you come to Bethany Beach, after passing the big helicopter on a post on the right side of RT 1, turn right onto RT26 West,(Garfield Ave), (note: you will see a 20 foot totem pole on the left at RT 1 and Rt 26(Garfield Ave), go to first traffic light,(half block), turn left on Kent Ave, go about 2 miles (Kent Ave becomes Muddy Neck Rd), Bethany Breeze is on the left....(note the blue community road signs, and there is a tall radio tower on the right side of the road near the entrance to the Bethany Breeze community.....turn left into the community at the 'wave' sign, left again at tee, and go to far back corner of the community...657 is on left side of the last 4 unit
building....NOTE....657 OCEAN BLVD MAY NOT APPEAR ON
YOUR GPS!!!!....it is a small community street, not a large public
street....WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU PRINT OUT THIS ENTIRE AD AND
TAKE IT WITH YOU so you have all the info you will need.....ESPECIALLY THE DIRECTIONS

$200 refundable security deposit due with signed rental agreement...(agreement will be emailed)..full rental fee due 4 weeks prior to arrival....fee can be paid in portions if desired...forms of payment accepted: personal check, bank check, credit union check, american express or postal money order. Winter rate requires 1 month down for security plus monthly rate ($1100) due on 1st of each month.
