Had more than enough room for our entire family, the view was outstanding and we had so much fun. Corn hole was a huge hit! highly recommended for a great getaway.

Nice place but house was dirty.

  • 2 of 5

Nice house. But the house was dirty. Looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Couldn't get the wifi to work either. Owner said there's no password but there was no unlocked networks.

Owner's Response: Sorry about that timing with the construction. We had a short amount of time to get the new windows, doors, siding and double sized deck in place leaving the cabin open to the elements for week. We just finished the deep clean after construction crews were done. Someone had broken the cable tab for the modem line and at the same time did a complete factory reset on the cable modem. It just needed to be plugged back in after looking at it.

Wonderful Mountain Retreat - 4WD/AWD/Snow chains are a MUST

  • 5 of 5

Lynn and Scott were great hosts! They provided clear and thorough instructions regarding all aspects of the cabin. As they emphasize multiple times, 4WD, AWD, or snow chains are a must during the winter season. We drove up while it was snowing in a truck and two crossovers with AWD and even then, we were worried about not making it up the road into the community. Our cell phones lost reception in the mountain so do not rely on your phone for navigation. Scott and Lynn provide detailed instructions in getting to the home which we followed to the letter without issue.

The home itself was wonderful, incredibly comfortable, clean, and filled with great amenities. The karaoke machine was awesome. Our dogs enjoyed roaming the outdoors, and we had fun singing our hearts out without worrying about the neighbors.
