House, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Baths, 4 Sleeps
About Debra ross
I had this home built in 1975. Growing up and living in Gig Harbor all my life, I have seen many changes and a tremendous growth in what use to be our small fishing village. As a 4th generation commercial fisherman, the décor inside the "view suite" reflects the years I spent fishing in Alaska.

A Pacific Northwest Gem!
We spent eight days at the Seacliff Guest House and it was PERFECT for our family of four (two adults, one teen, and one tween).
Seacliff has all the conveniences of home with a gorgeous view. Debbie was friendly, helpful, and her guest house was very clean and tidy. Everything you see in the pictures is exactly what you will get. Also, there is a small washing machine in the guest house, which is perfect - no need to overpack. If you do forget something, there is a Target, Albertsons Grocery, and an Amazon delivery locker that are a 10 minute drive from here.
As a bonus, Hana the owner's dog greeted us in the mornings. The grounds are immaculate and completely quiet at night. The view, as you can see, is amazing.
Gig Harbor itself is a cute, quiet town with good restaurants and very friendly people.
Long story short, you can believe every 5-star review you're read here. This place is perfect for your Seattle/Tacoma vacation. Thanks again, Debbie!
You won’t find a nicer host than Debbie, she takes great care of this spacious unit. Hannah the dog is a wonderful host as well. The sprawling yard and view is nice. All great.
Peaceful, Scenic, Comfortable, All We Needed!
Our month at beautiful Seacliff Guest House just minutes away from downtown Gig Harbor was a great idea! Its peaceful setting, overlooking the waters of Colvos or West Passage was spectacular even on the very few cloudy days we had during our month there. The cozy and spacious Guest House was outfitted with everything we needed. Our host, Debbie, was so hospitable and friendly. Our computer borrowed Debbie’s WiFi connection and our cell phones were nicely operable. The bed was very comfortable, and freshly laundered towels and linens were always at our disposal.
During breakfast on our first morning, we had an enthusiastic visitor who stood grinning at us through the large kitchen window…four legs and a rapidly wagging tail completed the picture. It was Hannah, the resident yellow lab who repeated this performance almost daily. Her next pattern was to round the corner and wait patiently on the doorstep for her petting session. On our daily walks we were greeted by Debbie’s tawny horse, elegant Miss Montana, who often shared her corral with the local deer.
Seacliff Guest House, with its close up view of the southern tip of Vashon Island, just an Adirondack chair away, also has one of the very best views of Mt. Rainier and Pt. Defiance at the edge of Tacoma. It was a wonderful home base for day trips, as well as frequent hops into homey Gig Harbor with its galleries, shops and eateries. We marveled at our own primordial forest along the route into “town”, thickly laden with towering Douglas Firs and red-barked madrone trees. We drove all the way to Port Townsend to see the Wooden Boat Festival, and to Tacoma to do the museums. With a short drive to nearby Bremerton, we boarded the ferry to Seattle. Within an hour we were within easy walking distance of Pikes Market and Pioneer Square.
We highly recommend Seacliff Guest House to other travelers, and we look forward to coming back sometime! Phil and Jean F, Minnesota
We choose the Seacliff Guest House based on the view & reviews and we were not disappointed! There was plenty of room for my husband and I to spread out and relax inside. Every room was clean and comfortable. It was an easy drive to multiple dining options in Gig Harbor, and every necessary kitchen item was provided when we choose to eat at "home". All that with a fabulous ever-changing view!
Debbie provides excellent communication and customer service. We wouldn't consider staying anywhere else if we return to the area.
Thank you again Debbie!
Medicine for the Soul!
As we drove to the home, we were certain that we were lost. We kept going and found the most pristine rental we have had. The relaxing interior, the majestic exterior with expansive views, the neighborhood, the short drive to stores--everything was amazing. Debra is wonderful and our favorite thing was playing with our kids on the lawn and gazing at the water. You can go to the beach, catch a ferry ride to Seattle from Bremerton, go the zoo/aquarium at point defiance, wander the shops of Gig Harbor. This is the most wonderful and relaxing place to go. As I mentioned in the title, this is "medicine for the soul."
Pictures don't do it justice, and words can't describe how beautiful and peaceful it is at Seacliff Guest House.....
We came to Washington to visit our son who is in the military.... We had a few days together, and the moments made for great memories....Sitting by the fire pit, enjoying the crisp clean air, looking at the beauty all around was priceless. Hannah's visits (the dog) made it feel like home... :)
Gig Harbor was just what the dr. ordered... quaint, quiet and picturesque....
