This roomy, 1056 square foot, second floor, Non-Smoking Condominium with private entrance and screened Lanai overlooks private pool and is a short walk to beautiful South Beach.

The Master Bedroom has recently been redecorated with new carpet, paint, new furniture and features a queen-size bed and large walk-in closet, private full bathroom, and access to the Lanai. The Second Bedroom has recently been redecorated with new carpet and paint and has two twins, plenty of closet space, and access to a separate Full Bathroom.

Living room has plenty of seating area with a new full sleeper sofa, new flat screen TV, DVD, and CD/AM/FM/Stereo player with speakers. Condo has wireless internet connections. Dining area with chairs and table are located directly off the fully-equipped, modern, and spacious kitchen. All linens provided. Washer and dryer in condo. Beach Equipment (chairs and umbrella and carrier) also included.

Great Location and well kept.

Condo is in a great location, just 8-10 minute walk to South Beach. With just 15 units in the complex there was never any issue with pool chairs and pool use. Condo is fully equipped, beds are very comfortable, screened-in Lanai is roomy with very comfortable seating. I would highly recommend this rental unit and plan on returning in the future.

Great place

We have stayed there for 10 years, Steve is easy to work with and the condo is an easy walk to the beach as well as having a nice pool and tiki hut by the pool.

Short walk to beach, owner accessible, needs some updating.

The condo was a short walk to beach. The owner was accessible via email, phone. The condo was found to be clean. The only issue would be that the condo needs some updating and maintenance. The condo complex is quiet and pleasant. I would consider staying again with updated furniture, kitchen, bathroom and dryer.

Owner's Response: It is unfortunate that guests give the wrong impression and always talk about the things they would like rather than the updates that we recently have done. For example they didn't mention that both bedrooms and the master bath were completely repainted, and the carpets in both bedrooms were replaced in September 2016, last year we purchased a new stove and refrigerator, there's a relatively new toilet in the guest bathroom, we replaced the front door screen protector in September, etc. This doesn't even count the continual maintenance we do as soon as we become aware of an issue. For example apparently the handle on the master shower drawer broke off and one of the drawers in the guest bedroom came off its tracks. We told guests a repairman would stop by Saturday after you leave as we believe issues are minor and you can deal with them for time being and they responded "No problem. We are enjoying our time". Eventually we will replace the kitchens and bathrooms with nice granite tops and we are considering and new couch however they are in fine shape tight now. While the dishwasher and washer/dryer are older there is absolutely nothing wrong them and they will be replaced as they reach their planned obsolescence.

Owner's Response: Guest never mentioned anything about any internet issues to us. Guests who stayed after called about the internet not working, I instructed them to reboot the modem and they were fine. If guests don't inform us we can't assist them if there are issues.

Lovely apartment with everything you'd need

Had a lovely time staying at this upper villa. Extreamly quiet neighbourhood with its own parking space. It is a 10 min walk to the beach. It's a straight, flat walk to the beach so no hard task; provided is a beach trolley and chairs so no need to carry anything. The storage unit is downstairs so you can put all the sandy things in there and not the apartment. (We liked that) There is a parking area only a minute walk to the beach but it's $8. The beach is very "shelly" so flip flops or beach shoes are a must especially for little ones. The apartment is well stocked with all the amenities you would ever need. The beds in the rooms are super comfy so a goods nights sleep there, but have to say the sofa bed has seen better days. We had to put sheets over the sofa cushions and my son slept on them. The furniture is somewhat too big for the apartment; so would feel more spacious with less bulky items. The bathrooms were clean with the master bathroom having a large walk in shower. The pool is super quiet and an added bonus. There are shops and a selection of restaurants only 5 mins drive. To catch a beautiful sunset head to CJ's or Snooks. Overall this is a lovely apartment. We would have given it 5 stars if not for the uncomfortable sofa bed and having to strip/wash/dry all bedding and towels before leaving the apartment so we didn't incur a $25 fee. I was surprised at that considering we paid $130 cleaning fee?? Anyway, we have experienced Marco Island and can tick that off our bucket list.

Great Condo for Families and Relaxation

I meant to review this last year. My family and I went in June 2015 from CO and we arrived exhausted after an overnight flight. We were given the go-ahead to check in early, which was a welcome surprise. We had some other questions and Steve was readily available via cell to answer them all. We felt the condo was in a nice quiet area that was close enough to the beach that we went twice a day. The porch was really nice and the bedrooms have privacy as they are on opposite ends and each have a bathroom. We were very happy and would return if we are back in the area. The place is older and may not be suitable for those looking for luxury digs, but it was lovely and perfect for our stay. Our kids enjoyed the pool.
