Fantastic house for our group

  • 5 of 5

The house was perfect for our group of 10 adults. We had everything we needed. The owner was also very responsive to emails prior to our stay. Overall a very nice experience that we would definitely repeat.

Great multifamily house in great location

  • 5 of 5

I stayed here with my family and my two sisters families and we loved it. There was plenty of room and it was close enough to walk to town. The house had everything we needed and the house manager Kim was very helpful and responsive when we had questions. I would highly recommend staying here for the plentiful space, beautiful scenery off back deck, and proximity to Lake Placid.

This house was awesome! It is a lot bigger in real life. It was clean and spacious with a great location, close to town but far enough away to have privacy. It is an enjoyable 5minute walk to Stewart's or McDonald's. The back deck is great for morning coffee. Overall- I loved this house, it was great in the summer and I imagine it's pretty spectacular in the winter. 5 stars.

Cozy Cottage With A Great View & Close To Town!

  • 5 of 5

First I have to say the owner was a pleasure to work with! Very responsive & flexible with our large group! Our first family vacation at Lake Placid wouldn't have been as memorable if it weren't for this great home! The cottage is secluded and has a beautiful view of a brook in the backyard. The open concept kitchen/dining & living room is spacious and was perfect for the family to hang around together cooking and playing games. The back deck is excellent for a morning cup of coffee. The house was well updated and very clean. The location was great too - a short walk or a quick bike ride right into town! The only thing missing was a yard to play some outdoor games in for our downtime between all the activities we came to do (canoeing, fishing, kayaking, hiking, etc) Also there was no BBQ grill, but the owner was nice enough to let us bring a little one of our own to use during our stay. Overall we had an amazing trip and would definitely stay here again. Pictures do not do the home justice!

Cozy rustic cabin feel in a beautiful setting

  • 5 of 5

House is beautifully kept on a nice, quiet little side street adjacent to a stream and not too far from the center of town.

Plenty of space and extremely comfortable with guests of 10. Beautiful little alcove overlooks the stream and backyard. Great place to stay and would certainly stay again.

Beautiful home!

  • 5 of 5

Myself and a group of friends went to Saranac Lake for Winter Carnival and were lucky enough to find this beautiful, secluded home. The house is very spacious and the views from the back porch are lovely. The house was within walking distance to downtown Lake Placid, but so quiet you would think you are in the middle of the woods. Can't wait to go back!
