Myself, husband and our good friends spent a delightful weekend in this charming and rustic house that captures the beauty of the seasons with its floor to ceiling windows overlooking a woodland hide-away. We had everything we needed to prepare our meals and there was a warmth and welcoming ambience that made us feel at home. The furniture was very comfortable and beds assured us of a good night's sleep. The kitchen counter tops were designed for efficiency and easy clean up and had a sleek style. Mark, the property owner, was very responsive to any question we had and he has binders full of brochures and info on sights and hiking trails in the surrounding areas. Mark clearly wants his guests to have a memorable stay. We hope to return in the winter to experience it in a different season.
Another great family reunion.
This is our second year holding our family reunion at this property. Although it rained on and off the day of the reunion, we had brought a 10X10 canopy which we set up on the deck and allowed plenty of seating. Mark was very responsive to any question we asked and most accommodating for any request we had. The kitchen is very well equipped, beds comfortable and all our guests loved the property. Very secluded which is what we wanted but easy to find. Already planning for next year. Great property. Great owner.
Comfortable and clean
Excellent property, quick and easy to get settled in and get on with our day.
Comfortable well-equipped house in beautiful and convenient setting
A great experience overall. Beautiful wooded setting, quiet and secluded yet close to Taconic. Water pressure was at times a bit low. House is tastefully designed, well equipped and comfortable.
Week stay to reconnect with area family members and our rescue border collie mixes.
Everything as described
We enjoyed a lovely weekend up on the Hudson. The house was comfortable and the property was lovely and peaceful.
Close to mainy quaint villages, cross-country skiing, antique/auction houses, historic mansions, hiking trails, rolling hills- very picturesque area
