Cabin, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, Sleeps 2
My family and I moved here in 1994. We wanted to live in a beautiful place and as you can see, we are still here. We love the many hiking and riding trails, the little town next to the big City(Colorado Springs) and the many wonderful things this area has to offer. I wear several hats including being a licensed Real Estate Broker, being a Property Manager for some longer term rentals and doing some Professional Step-on Bus Guiding as well. In my spare time, I am a Planning Commissioner in this town that I love. I also ride my horses every chance I get.
Jeanne purchased this Cabin in 1994
Why Jeanne chose Manitou Springs
This Property feels very private but is easy walking distance to all the unique shops and restaurants of Manitou Springs. The cottage sits somewhat secluded from the road. Every effort has been made to make your stay as relaxing and comfortable as you desire.
What makes this Cabin unique

Loved this cozy cottage!
Cottage was equipped with everything you need. Very comfortable and cozy. Location and amenities were awesome. First time visiting manitou springs and we will be back. And will stay here again.
Small but Great
Nice little cabin with just enough personality to make it fun. The jetted bathtub was fantastic, and the shower was great. Just enough room for two. Great location from Downtown and easy access to the Incline / Cog railway.
I had a great time staying in the cabin. It was very serene and exactly what I needed.
We were looking for a quiet week to experience Manitou Springs as if we lived there. This cozy hilltop cottage was the perfect home away from home allowing us to settle in, enjoy morning coffee on the patio with mountain views and cool, fresh air.
The kitchenette is well equipped for small breakfasts and light meals. The bedroom was roomy and both of us slept very well on a most comfortable bed. We could not ask for a more comfortable, spacious bathroom with a large spa tub and separate shower. All linens for both sleeping and bath were clean, in perfect condition, and quite comfortable.
Jeanne was out of town when we arrived, but she made sure all details were readied for us. She also made sure we knew she was available by phone should anything arise and as soon as she returned, Jeanne offered clean linens and towels. Jeanne was a fountain of information on Manitou history, transportation if we needed, and things to be sure to see and do.
As for location, we could not have asked for better. On Ruxton Ave, the cottage is a few blocks up from the roundabout making it an easy walk each time and thus avoid the challenges of parking in Manitou Springs. Ruxton Ave is one of the few streets with an easy grade making the walk uphill back home quite doable, even after a big meal!
We visit Manitou Springs annually and are happy to have found this little gem.
Loved our stay in Manitou Springs. We were very surprised at how convenient Manitou is to all the major attractions. Side streets are rather narrow and would be hard for large vehicles to maneuver. The walk up the steps can take your breath away for those not used to the altitude (like me). I would just stop halfway up to catch my breath while taking in the scenery. Jeanne is wonderful. Her cottage is clean and very welcoming. She did a really good job remodeling, it's everything a vacationer needs- A LARGE BATHROOM!! Getting ready simultaneously was made so easy with the over-sized bathroom and connecting bedroom. We really enjoyed getting to know Jeanne and the area, she is a wealth of knowledge and a very likable person, even went out to breakfast with her. Her cottage is well appointed, but still she went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. She made a much needed time away from work just that much better. We stayed for a week and enjoyed every day.
Great location to travel from. The cottage was quaint, charming and private. Jeanne was very helpful and offered advice both before and after we arrived. I would highly recommend this cottage!! Bill and Debbie
