Adorable downtown Laurel Park cottage, walk to all

Bedrooms 1
Property type cottage
Minimum Stay 1 - 30 nights

About the property

Cottage, 1 Bedrooms, 1 Baths, sleeps 2

This is a recently renovated cottage in the neighborhood of Laurel Park, designated a National Historic District. A short walk to all that downtown Sarasota offers: restaurants, wine bars, shops, galleries, movies, the bayfront park and marina, the opera, Marie Selby Botanical Gardens. And ten to 15 minutes' drive takes you to Lido or Siesta beaches.Terra cotta tile floors throughout and cottage-style beadboard give a fresh and airy feel; the rattan ceiling fan and wood furnishings contribute a touch of old Key West. A screened-in porch with wicker armchairs adds to the relaxed atmosphere; pick your own tangerines in the yard.

A recent guest wrote: 'The cottage is such a comfortable, cozy place to spend a vacation! We were there for two months last winter. It is perfectly situated, walkably close to everything the beautiful city of Sarasota has to offer in the historic, peaceful, downtown neighborhood of Laurel Park. We enjoyed every minute of our stay there! ' Judy D, Massachusetts

Very quaint, comfortable, convenient property in close proximity to downtown Sarasota, but quiet and private at the same time. We enjoyed our stay very much. Marianne was quite helpful and accommodating. We recommend this cottage.

Ideal urban cottage

  • 5 of 5

What an awesome cottage: walkable to downtown, art district, botanical garden, marina, urban trail and 15 minute drive to Longboat Key. And the lanai offers sheltered space for evening wine -- a really comfortable, ideally located spot for enjoying all that Sarasota offers.

Lovely cottage and area. Located in a very convenient location. Near restaurants, easy access.

Property was secluded with beautiful plants and trees. Felt very private. Laundry room attached to cottage. Nice kitchen. We had gorgeous weather while we here so we're not inside much. Comfortable for two.

Beautiful cottage, Quiet area downtown.

  • 5 of 5

My lady and I spent 3 months in this space while on business in sarasota and it was perfect. Super great area right off the main roads and a short walk to the art areas and downtown. The way the cottage sits back off the street it gives a lot of privacy and there is a charming screened in porch and an area out front to grill and enjoy the wonderful garden. The area was very safe and quiet and parking was off street. The wifi was fast and all the amenities were very nice. The manager is very nice and helpful. All in all we could not have wished for more - it was really perfect. We would totally recommend this place. If you're looking to stay in the Sarasota area you could not wish for a better place with a better location!
