This is a recently renovated cottage in the charming neighborhood of Laurel Park, designated a National Historic District. A short walk to all that downtown Sarasota offers: restaurants, wine bars, shops, galleries, movies, the bayfront park and marina, the opera, Marie Selby Botanical Gardens. And ten to 15 minutes' drive takes you to Lido or Siesta beaches.
Terra cotta tile floors throughout and cottage-style beadboard give a fresh and airy feel; the rattan ceiling fan and wood furnishings contribute a touch of old Key West. A screened-in porch with wicker armchairs adds to the relaxed atmosphere. A private brick patio surrounded by tropical plantings offers a great outdoor dining spot, complete with Weber gas grill. There is a fully equipped kitchen and full bathroom with shower. A mini-split wall unit provides quiet central air conditioning and heat. There is an off-street parking space and easy parking too on the quiet dead end block.
