Vacation Like a Millionaire! Luxury Waterfront/Private Pool & Hot Tub/Spa & Dock

Overview

Property Details

Updated: Jul 3, 2016
Private Single Family Home with 5 Bedrooms, 3 Full Baths, Sleeps 10

If you are seeking a truly upscale Florida vacation

experience....Here are the Top 10 Reasons Why Your Family Should

Consider Renting This Luxury Home and "Vacation Like a Millionaire"

1. NEWER CONSTRUCTION HOME. Unlike 99% of the vacation homes

in Florida, this home is newer custom construction (completed in 2004). By contrast, most of the prime Florida waterfront property was developed in the 1950’s, 1960’s and 1970s.

2. PHENOMENAL WATERFRONT GULF OF MEXICO ACCESS LOCATION. After

traveling all the way to Florida for vacation most families prefer

to spend the majority of their time enjoying themselves (not in the car). This is

precisely why you will love our home because unlike the vast

majority of other rental houses where you must pack up the car and

drive to everything, from our home you can walk to almost everything

including: The World Famous Sponge Docks with its fine award

winning restaurants and specialty gift shops, deep-sea fishing

boats, sponge fishing tour boat, Dolphin Watch Island Tour Boat,

Kayak rentals, boat rentals, antique shops, a winery, and historic

district with red brick streets, exquisite victorian homes, art

galleries, day spa, hair salon, scenic Spring Bayou, Craig Park,

Library, tennis courts, a meat market and grocery store, The Scenic

Pinellas Trail (a 37 mile path that runs from Tarpon Springs to St.

Petersburg for walking, jogging, running, biking, rollerblading ),

the Tarpon Spring Trolley which tours the towns most famous

landmarks, and more. Plus, there are two fantastic beaches (Sunset

Beach and Fred Howard Park Beach) within 2 miles of the home.

3. HEATED POOL & HOT TUB/SPA. Relax and enjoy your own private heated

Pool & Oversized Spa/Jacuzzi with a decorative brick paver deck. Even at the most exclusive resorts you may find yourself sharing the pool or hot tub with strangers but not here. Also, the pool has a new heater, salt system, pump, and LED colorful lights.

4. UNIQUE PICTURESQUE, CHARMING TARPON SPRINGS. Why

vacation just anywhere in Florida when you can experience the quaint

and peaceful village of Tarpon Springs, which is listed in the

National Registry of Historic Places. Tarpon Springs is Pinellas

County’s oldest town and was incorporated in 1887. Tarpon Springs

is located in a part of Florida nicked named the Sun Coast as it

averages over 300+ days of sunshine. The town has over 51 miles of

waterfront and an average annual temperature is 72.8 degrees. There

are no highrise hotels and condos in Tarpon to crowd your family

vacation, and there are 2 public beaches and 9 parks in Tarpon

Springs alone.

5. UPSCALE FURNISHINGS. All of the home furnishings are new,

upscale and tastefully decorated in Florida and Palm Tree style. This home features all Pro-style Viking kitchen appliances whereas often other rental homes are furnished with older furniture, outdated décor and basic appliances. The bottom line is your family will feel very

comfortable and right at home.

6. FISHING. No need to drive to the harbor, purchase bait,

rent fishing poles, etc. There are inshore

fishing guides that guests can hire who will pick you up directly

from the dock in the back yard for a day of fishing in the beautiful

Gulf of Mexico. Alternatively, you can spend a day on one of the deepsea charter boats in Tarpon Springs. There are two boat rental companies in Tarpon if you would like to try your luck on your own. Lastly, if you like you can fish off your own private dock with fishing poles that are supplied in the house.

7. CUSTOM BUILT HOME WITH SIGNIFICANT UPGRADES. Unlike most of

the small single story boxy block constructed homes of the 1950’s-

1960’s, this home was custom built with a Distinctive Mediterranean

style architecture featuring a tile roof, arches, and columns, high

ceilings, 20” Italian Porcelain Tile, stylish ceiling fans, modern

recessed lighting, large garden tub, two sets of double sinks in two

restrooms, walk in shower, walk-in closets, large upgrade windows

with a water view from every room in the house. The bottom line

here is that is a very upscale vacation experience.

8. BOATING. The home features an empty boat slip so you can

bring your own boat or rent one and keep it directly in your back

yard. The open Gulf of Mexico is just minutes away and nearby

Anclote Key and Caledesi Island are ranked among the top 10 beaches

in the U.S.

9. FANTASTIC KITCHEN. Instead of the small closed-in outdated

kitchens you find in most old florida ranch houses, our home

features a large open plan gourmet kitchen with 42” Cabinets with

crown molding, new Professional Style Viking appliances including Refrigerator, Range,

Microwave, Dishwasher, and a separate Beverage and Wine Center for cooling your wine to perfection.

10. AWESOME AMENITIES. All you need to bring is your food,

clothes, and personal items. In addition to all the normal

conveniences, our home comes with a Large Sony Flat Screen TV, 2

DVDs, a VCR, Cable TV with hundreds of channels, Weber gas grill, beach

chairs, 2 golf club sets, 7 bicycles (4 adult bikes and 3 youth

bikes), tennis racquets and balls, fishing poles, and ping pong

table and paddles. If you have small children, we will even provide

items such as a stroller, age appropriate. Finally if you want to be on the water, we provide a canoe, 2 kayaks, and 2 stand up paddle boards so you can have a blast exploring the 51 miles of waterfront in Tarpon Springs.

About the Owner

Here’s why you will enjoy dealing with Stephen & Annica. First, they are well educated. Stephen has a bachelors and master’s degree. Annica, who is originally from Sweden, also has a college degree. Second they are experienced with over 15 years managing rental properties. Because we are local, we can quickly address and resolve any issue that may arise vs. an absentee owner or home that is managed by a third party property manager. In addition, we can tell you where to get the best Greek food, tastiest ice cream, most delicious baked goods, or to-die-for pizza and gelato. The couple is committed to continuously improving the rental experience so they collect feedback from each visitor to make the home better for the next guest. They have been adding amenities for over 12 years and have received 5 stars from 100% of our guests on every website (please see our reviews). Stephen has the local expertise of 30 years so he can help you make the most of your time in the area. The couple provides each guest with a personal tour of the home so they can get comfortable with their surroundings.

The couple is very easy going and are not high pressure sales types. If you think our home is a good fit for you and your family, terrific, if not, no worries. There are many lovely destinations and homes so find the one that is right for your family and budget. Stephen & Annica invite you to consider many homes and if our luxury home is a good fit for you, we will do everything we can to make your stay pleasant and memorable. Finally, you can trust us. Once you confirm your booking, it is a done deal. We do not play games by trying to rent the home for more money to another guest. Stephen and Annica have been local business owners for years and have an impeccable reputation for integrity.

Nice Home - Great Experience

  • 5 of 5

The day before our trip to Florida my 20-month old daughter came down with the H1N1 flu. She was absolutely miserable and her doc wanted us to start the meds right away and it was apparent that we would NOT be starting our vacation the next day. Stephen and Annica were extremely understanding and they told us to "get better and come when you can!". Once my daughter was over the flu they worked with us to arrange a new vacation date, all at no additional cost. I only wish the airlines were as accomodating :)

The house is very easy to get to and is exactly as depicted in the online pictures. I'm a neat freak and the house was very clean. I loved that there was a full washer and dryer at the house. The living room and kitchen are all open so it's easy to visit with family while making dinner. My daughter enjoyed all of the toys, especially the big red car (I think we may need to buy her one now).

My husband enjoyed fishing off the dock. We caught a crab but decided to let him go. We also saw dolphins playing, a surprise I wasn't expecting.

We went in November so the weather was a bit cooler. We heated up the pool every day and it was very enjoyable. This is an excellent house, I highly recommend it.

OUTSTANDING!!!!!!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I had a tremendous experience staying at this property for a week this March.

It all began when we met the homes owners and they took us for a tour of their beautiful Home. So many times when you rent a property you just show up and can't figure things out, example...tv remotes etc. Not here! Stephen and Annica took us around their beautiful property and didn't leave a question unanswered. Such a simple but important touch!

The property itself is actually better than described. Perfect location!

We walked to town everyday for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

Although the town is very close, you never have to leave this home!

the home is right on the water, and has great paddle boards, kayaks and fishing poles!

the heated pool and spa were perfect.

We actually brought our Daughter and son in law as well as our twin grandsons (18 months) and the owners had everything we needed! Cribs, high chairs, gates...they even went out of their way and purchased two push cars for the little guys!

Anyway, we all highly recommend this property and already are planning a return trip next year!

ENJOY!

Lovely time at this riverside oasis

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 12 (6 adults and 6 young children!!) had an lovely time at this beautiful riverside oasis. Despite the fact that the weather early in the week wasn't perfect, the accommodations and the hospitality of the owners made our experience one of a kind. We had absolutely EVERYTHING we could need for our little ones right at our fingertips. The house is just a short ride or walk to the buzzing downtown areas and local beaches. Our most memorable moments however, were those spent on our boat cruising to the local restaurants and sand bars, where we found the most gorgeous sand dollars and had our 'fresh catch' cooked for the evening! What a beautiful little slice of heaven. Thank you!!

Great Family Holiday in Tarpon Springs!

  • 5 of 5

We loved our week long stay at the '5 Bedroom Luxury Vacation Home in Tarpon Springs'. The house was perfect for my husband and I and our two sons and their families (including 4 children ranging in age from 7 months to 13 years). The house is exactly as described on the web site...it is very well maintained and is stocked with every imaginable amenity. The house is spacious, very nicely furnished and decorated, and has lots of attractive living spaces and comfortable sleeping areas. Stephen and Anicka have gone out of their way to ensure that the house has everything needed by adults or families to make a holiday at "a home away from home" enjoyable and stress free.

There was LOTS to do in the Tarpon Springs area. Our family visited beaches...Fred Howard Park Beach ( 5 minutes from the house) and Honeymoon Island Beach (30 minutes from the house) were our favourites; went to ball games at Duneden (20 minutes from the house); enjoyed the new splash pad--especially the 3 year old (3 minutes from the house); went golfing (15 minutes from the house) and had fun exploring the Greek restaurants, Sponge Docks and shops in downtown Tarpon Springs (5 minutes from the house).

We were always VERY happy however to return to 'our' house and enjoy family time. There were also LOTS of things to do in our very picturesque back yard. The house backs onto Tarpon Bayou and our family fished, paddle boarded, canoed and kayaked making very good use of all the recreational 'toys' provided with the house. We enjoyed lots and lots of time in the pool and the hot tub as well as just hanging out on the patio around the pool. Even though the house is located on a corner lot beside a fairly busy street, the back yard is very private and allowed us to relax in our own piece of Florida paradise.

I would highly recommend this house for adult groups or families. Stephen and Anicka are terrific hosts and were great to work with to make our Florida family vacation fun and memorable!

Stay Here! Great home and beautiful location

  • 5 of 5

This beautiful home has all you need! Equipped with pool/beach toys, toys for little ones and adults this house caters to all. We stayed in Tarpon Springs from 3/28/15-4/2/15 and were lucky to have magnificent weather the entire week. Stephen, the owner told me that this was a great time to be in the area due to the great weather and the manatee sightings. He was right! Stephen got us settled in, showing us around the home and telling us all there was to do in the area. He even checked in with us during the week to see how we were doing. The area is loaded with gorgeous beaches, we rented a boat and with Stephen's suggestion, we visited Anclote Key. It was amazing! I can't speak highly enough of this beautiful home and the great customer service we received. There were 9 of us, including my toddler and we all slept very comfortably with plenty of room. Also, this house is very close to all amenities. A great experience had by all!
