Why DENIS P MULLARKEY chose Providenciales
After seeing many property's that day with the broker, that were nice, but just weren't what I was looking for, we decided to head back to the Hotel, then the Broker said = "O.K, I'll show you one more on the way home BUT, its not my listing" its from another broker ? so I said to myself OK what do I have to loose ? You couldn't see the lot from the road so we had to climb up a ridge to see it, "WHAT A SIGHT" what unbelievable views it had. It was love at first sight, I immediately turned to the Broker & said "I'LL TAKE IT " but I haven't given you the price yet" the Broker said, "I don't care about the price" said, " I'll TAKE IT". As a practicing christian, my first thought was why should views like this be hidden, I'll build a house on this spot so everyone can enjoy these views of Gods creation.
What makes this Villa unique
I've got many comments from guests, for instants = (" pinch me, so I know I'm not dreaming") ("but I don't want to leave") but most of them just have their mouths open when their eyes are looking at the views of Chalk Sound for the first time, But I didn't want to stop there, I said to myself, when I build a house I wanted it to be just as beautiful as the views around it (SO I DID), I have family reunions, groups from 10 - 18 persons, small weddings, etc in mind. and since then, that's just what's been going there. its just a great feeling when just about every party that goes there, sends me a note after to say = thank you.

THE EMERALD SHORES ESTATE WAS AMAZING. THE VIEWS,THE BEACHES, AND EVERYTHING ELSE
WERE AMAZING. MYSELF,ALL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS
REALLY ENJOYED THE PROPERTY AND WE'RE PLANNING
ALREADY TO RETURN NEXT YEAR. GETTING AROUND
PROVO WAS MUCH EASIER THAN WE EXPECTED.THE
RESTAURANTS AND NIGHTLIFE WERE GREAT AND OUR
CHILDREN REALLY HAD A GOOD TIME ALSO.
A great spot in paradise
As a large family group, Emerald Shores Estate was everything we were looking for. The property is stunning and the views of the sound are truly breathtaking.
The pools are well-maintained and staff came mid-way through the week to clean and check them. The dock had kayaks, life-jackets, snorkel fins and tons of pool floaties.
As far as the rooms, the beds were comfortable and the villas mostly well-equipped. Some things were a bit tired and could use some sprucing up (bed linens, pool chairs/cushions, ripped window screens etc.) but on a whole, I would absolutely recommend to a large group.
We did have a few issues throughout the week (i.e. one fridge not working) and everything was attended to right away by a maintenance team.
All in all, we had an amazing trip and would go back to Turks and Caicos in a heartbeat! The beaches are incredible!
First of all Thank you for giving such an honest review,
as once we find out about any issues that guests have, we can make sure that the next guest does not experience the same, but glad to see that the maintenance staff jumps on and repairs any issues guests may have in a timely manner.
Again thank you for bringing your issues to our attention, and letting us know how things were taken care of.
We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay at the Emerald Shores Estate, and from the staff and I, we would love to have you and your party, return in the future.
Denis P Mullarkey.
The main and guest houses suited our needs as the layout was great! This house is 'dated' and definitely needs some attention. Compared to other homes on the island - the value isn't bad. It's a bit of a distance to restaurants and groceries but not a big deal for us. Juhi (Manager) was attentive and very responsive at all times.
Thank you for your nice review,
Such a large place always needs a lot of attention, including some small repairs now and again, and when they are brought to our attention, they are usually taken care of the same, or next day.
We were glad to have you and your party stay with us, and to see that you and your party enjoyed the Emerald Shores Estate, Juhi said you were so nice.
You and your party are welcome back anytime.
We stayed here a week with 5 families and 6 kids. We had plenty of beds and plenty of space for everyone. The layout and size of the house was perfect for what we needed. The guest house and pool provided a great escape from the chaos of all the kids at the bigger house. However, the kitchen and bathrooms could use an update - for the price we paid I expected something a little nicer. It wasn't exactly walkable to the beach with small children, but it was just a short drive away and never really a problem to get there. Parking at the beach access was always available. Chalk Sound was gorgeous, but a little deep for our younger kids to play in (ages 1, 3, 4, 7, 8, 10). The older ones could get in, but I was never comfortable with them going anywhere except right by the dock because of the wake. The management company was wonderful - quick to respond to emails and just a phone call away while we were there.
Great place for a large group!
Great property and location. The house accommodates large groups easily with each bedroom having its own bathroom. Kitchen has everything you could want. The pools are perfect sized and the sound is so serene. Taylor Bay beach is a close walk or quick drive and it’s the best kept secret - highly recommend this beach for small kids - no wake or undertow, very shallow for a long distance off the beach.
Thank you Tarra for the nice comments, your welcome back anytime.
Booked this amazing home for my 50th birthday trip with family and friends. We were a large group and this Estate was able to accommodate all of us. We had the whole property to ourselves and it felt like we were at home! The view was breathtaking and grounds just beautiful! We had everything we needed for the week.
There were awesome beaches close by within walking distance that we had to ourselves. You could paddleboard, kayak and snorkel right by the house. Grocery stores near by and a few places to eat right by the house.
It was so easy to explore this unbelievable island with our rental cars. We enjoyed meeting locals and tasting the cuisine. We even had a Chef come to the house and prepare my birthday dinner! She and her crew were so professional and her food outstanding!
The owner Denis Mullarkey was awesome to work with and his manager Sean Rodgers was amazing. He met us when we arrived and got us settled in on the first day. Sean was extremely helpful to all of us and was always there if we had any questions or need for anything.
We truly had an over the top time and would love to go back and stay in this amazing home again!
Thank you so much for a most memorial time that we are still taking about and will never forget!
What a pleasure it was for us to have such great guests like this, this is what makes all the work we put in, worth while, and the best thanks that we could get, are the comments like this, Beth and her party are welcome back anytime, but all we can take credit for, are the thinks we've done, as for as the views are concerned, well, someone greater than us made them.
If you want to see coral and can't swim, (no problem) you can see the coral through the crystal clear water from simply standing at the dock. If you feel comfortable going wading/standing in the water, there are large steps leading into the waters of Chalk Sound, with a white sandy bottom, the water level starting off around 2 1/2 to 3ft deep. There you'll see different colored corals, with many species of tropical fish. There's never been anything to my knowledge harmful to humans in these waters, which consists of over 5 1/2 square miles, with over a hundred small islands & cays to explore with your kayaks, and best of all = its almost IMPOSSIBLE TO SINK with the heavy salt content in the water, you could just LAY ON YOUR BACK, AND YOU'LL FLOAT ALL DAY, and it's also only 2 minutes to Taylor Bay Beach from the house.
So you may do = Swimming, Snorkeling, Fishing, Boating etc, in the Sound, or in town , you can take a tour as a group in a mini Sub, were you can take a tour seeing Ocean reefs though the glass sides in the boat, there,s also many Beaches to see (did you know that the last 10 years that the Turks & Caicos have been rated #1 has having the worlds best beaches? ) you'll know why if you go there, you can stand in the water up to your shoulders and look down & see your toes, yes, the water is that clear.
But there are so many other things to do there as well, like playing in an 18 hole golf course, learning scuba diving, deep sea fishing, day cruising to other islands, go-karts, MTV's, horse back riding along the beach, day passes into Beaches Resort, Casinos, Restaurants, Bars (including Danny buoys Irish Pub) shopping, Modern Supermarkets that have all the products that your accustomed to.
