Very quite and relaxing
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Florida. The cottage was clean, quite and exactly what we needed. The owner was very accommodating and available if we had any issues. The location was perfect. The bed was comfortable, which is important to us. Overall, we had an excellent vacation. Thanks!
The cottage was advertised, just a short walk down to the beach to watch the awesome sunsets from the picnic shelter, everything that was needed is there for anyone wanting a comfortable place to stay. It was quiet and the beach was great. John was very helpful whenever I called him and asked him questions. Appreciated all of his help. Nice place for anyone to stay.
My family of 3 stayed at this cottage for a week and loved it! It's CLEAN! which with staying at a lot of different beach places means something to me. Plenty of fresh linens, towels, blankets even beach towels! Only thing lacking is a hot tub! Haha. Neighbors were very friendly and helpful, although there is some noise when upstairs is used. Water could have been a lot hotter too.
Excellent quiet beach house
This place was exactly as described. Just steps to the sand and very comfortable. The community is quiet and the beach is not overflowing but it's close enough to Indian Rocks and St Petersburg if you're looking for a bit more action.
John was extremely responsive and helped to make my stay great.
One note; the wifi provided is extremely limited (streaming video is not gonna happen) so if that's a selling point for you, I suggest you bring your own hotspot.
A warm and inviting cottage
We found this little cottage to be just what we needed. It was a quiet area , on the beach. Beautiful sunsets, the couple we had. The cottage itself was nicely decorated and clean. The owner was very willing to make sure it was a good stay. Everything you need is there. Everyone in the complex, were extremely friendly. "Fred" was there to meet you each morning. Plenty of relaxation on this beach!! Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. We visited Crabby Bills a few times. Great food, drinks, and friendly service. We also spent time at Johns Pass. Ate at Scully's. Very good food also. There is plenty to do in nearby cities as well. Would certainly visit again!!!
30 steps to the beach
Our stay at the Gulf Sands was an experience we had not enjoyed on our many visits to Florida. Normally we would stay at a High Rise, but do to circumstances we stayed at the cottage at Gulf Sands. My husband and I were greeted to a quaint cottage that was very clean with updated décor combined with the calming atmosphere of a little community. We met several people who stayed there every year during the winter months and a few that lived there year round. Lovely People! The gazebo was a short walk from our door and the beach is just a small stroll beyond the gazebo. We were there for only 1 week but would love to have stayed longer
