Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was fully stocked and very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The host was easily reachable and did a great job of communicating with us before and during our stay. I’d recommend this cabin to anyone.

Perfect Getaway!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was beautiful and very accommodating. It has everything that you would need. The hot tub is great and sitting on the back porch of the morning. We had a large group and there was more then enough space.

We also enjoyed the nearby activities of hiking, horseback riding and renting a pontoon boat.

Overall it was an incredible trip!

Lovely Trip to the Mountains

  • 5 of 5

The cabin, the view and the Lake Lure area made our trip absolutely incredible! We ate like Kings, laughed liked Queens and slept like Babies. The FSU theme was perfect for our Tallahassee Lassies. Time in the hot tub watching the sun set is the best memory of all! Thanks again Randy for having The Best Cabin on the mountain! Susie, Cindy, Chrisanne, Rose and Robin

Cabin was so ideal!

  • 5 of 5

This mountain trip was perfect for our group of friends & family. The house had plenty of space for everyone, was cozy & comfortable. The house was endlessly enertaining for our group & we just love love love the Lake Lure area. We plan on coming back annually (if not sooner!) My favorite parts of the cabin were the porches, jacuzzi & beautiful dining table. Super grateful to Randy for having us!

Owner's Response: Thanks for the visit and comments! The dining room table was custom Amish made and is a true piece of art. The fall leaf changing season and spring mountain laurel season are beautiful periods to visit the cabin. Hope to have you "aboard" for another visit soon. The Commander

A Great Place for a family vacation

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. We gathered four generations together for our annual family vacation/reunion. Everyone from our 92 year old matriarch to her 7 month old great-grandson was comfortably situated and relaxed at this spacious mountain home. The two large gathering rooms are well suited for visiting with each other and making memories.
