A Quiet Week

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful week at BearTracks. The cabin was cozy and welcoming, even for our four legged friend. It was quiet, peaceful and so relaxing you forget where you are. The lake was not within walking distance, but we still fished for 3 days and swam. The hottub was warm and welcoming, our daughter thought she had died and gone to heaven. We explored around the area most days and came back in the evening to relaxation. Take movies with you as the Directv doesn't get much channels and there is no Wi-Fi but our phones worked great. One of the best parts was being able to come home with clean clothes because of the washer and dryer, so unpacking was not a headache or a chore because everything was clean and ready to put up. Mrs. Sandi was nice and we didn't get to meet this trip but I hope we do the next time we venture to NC. All in all, we could not have asked for a better week, even with the rain.

Owner's Response: We are always so happy when our renters are satisfied/happy customers!! ...we do have a lot of people that walk down to the lake (only 5 or 6 minutes down) climbing back up can put you out of breath...and takes twice as long. it is a very peaceful cabin and the party that was there left it in excellent condition! Y'all come back. Blessings, Sandi

Love this cabin!! Perfect for Mtn Bikers!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I have been renting from Sandi and Clad since 2007. As avid mtn bikers, the location is PERFECT, just minutes from Tsali Recreation Area and the Nantahala River. We love the secluded and cozy little cabin 'cause it gives us the opportunity to truly 'unplug'. The hot tub is fabulous after those long days on the trails. We also love this cabin because it's pet friendly and we don't have to leave our 'furbabies' at home!

Dinner at River's End is always good!

Great place!!!

Owner's Response: This couple are gems themselves, they respect the cabin & leave it so nice... those "fur-babies" have a good home as all three are adopted from shelters..good people. Thank you, The Brockett's

Charming family cottage

  • 5 of 5

Living in Florida, we don't get to experience Autumn. My family of 3 decided to take a mini vacay to see the leaves and mountains of North Carolina. Never did we imagine that the cabin would be one of the best parts of the trip. This cabin was absolutely adorable, charming, cozy, and relaxing. It was more than enough room for us even though we're live in a much bigger home. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was perfect for making breakfast and packing our lunches for the day. The hot tub was AMAZING!!! The views are breathtaking and Sandi was a joy to work with. The only downside was that our cell phones didn't work up there so I was a little nervous in case of an emergency either there or back home. But I really enjoyed being able to disconnect from the world and just enjoy my family. Sandi provided us with fishing poles for the community pond and great suggestions for local activities. We had so much fun that we are now going to make this an annual fall trip. Not a single complaint!

Owner's Response: We do our best to make sure that all our renter's have a wonderful vacation. There is a cell phone at the cabin for emergent calls, just in case. The lake provides alot of fun if you like fishing * Swimming and we are close to alot of fun activities, like ww rafting & the zip line canopy tour, the train in Bryson city...this family left the cabin spotless and will always be welcome back. Regards, Sandi B.
