Nice, cozy, secluded

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at bear tracks cabin. The pictures do not do this place justice. We arrived late at night, had difficulty finding it so I called and Clad was more than happy to give us directions over the phone. The massaging jets in the hot tub hit the spot after the long drive. The owner maintained lake was beautiful and the perfect to my son to fish at. There was a small store 3 miles down that road that served great breakfast and had the small supplies needed to stay at the cabin. We loved our stay and definitely recommend to others wanting a weekend getaway.

Cute cottage, quiet neighborhood

  • 4 of 5

My pups and I enjoyed our mini-vacation here. Lovely neighborhood roads to walk on, very quiet, low key neighborhood, a lake kept very tidy by owners association. It was just the break we needed. Thanks.

Cute cottage in the mountains

  • 4 of 5

Very convenient to our destination. Cute decorated cottage. Trees in the way of the satellite signal for the TV at night, but had a great Verizon phone signal.

A Quiet Week

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful week at BearTracks. The cabin was cozy and welcoming, even for our four legged friend. It was quiet, peaceful and so relaxing you forget where you are. The lake was not within walking distance, but we still fished for 3 days and swam. The hottub was warm and welcoming, our daughter thought she had died and gone to heaven. We explored around the area most days and came back in the evening to relaxation. Take movies with you as the Directv doesn't get much channels and there is no Wi-Fi but our phones worked great. One of the best parts was being able to come home with clean clothes because of the washer and dryer, so unpacking was not a headache or a chore because everything was clean and ready to put up. Mrs. Sandi was nice and we didn't get to meet this trip but I hope we do the next time we venture to NC. All in all, we could not have asked for a better week, even with the rain.

Owner's Response: We are always so happy when our renters are satisfied/happy customers!! ...we do have a lot of people that walk down to the lake (only 5 or 6 minutes down) climbing back up can put you out of breath...and takes twice as long. it is a very peaceful cabin and the party that was there left it in excellent condition! Y'all come back. Blessings, Sandi

Love this cabin!! Perfect for Mtn Bikers!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I have been renting from Sandi and Clad since 2007. As avid mtn bikers, the location is PERFECT, just minutes from Tsali Recreation Area and the Nantahala River. We love the secluded and cozy little cabin 'cause it gives us the opportunity to truly 'unplug'. The hot tub is fabulous after those long days on the trails. We also love this cabin because it's pet friendly and we don't have to leave our 'furbabies' at home!

Dinner at River's End is always good!

Great place!!!

Owner's Response: This couple are gems themselves, they respect the cabin & leave it so nice... those "fur-babies" have a good home as all three are adopted from shelters..good people. Thank you, The Brockett's
