Peaceful and comfortable...just out of the way enough!

  • 5 of 5

Loved it! Run by a very nice gentleman with a very hands off stewardship of the property. Cabin’s a nice size and easily comfy for up to 4. Near the hilltop and nestled in a lush wood. A nice semi-private lake down the road with lots of life. Cicadas at night put you to bed. Full kitchen we got great use out of (bring a knife sharpener ;). Hot tub was awesome and the woodsy deck and a cup of coffee were a fine start for us every am. Also used the antique wood burning stove one night. Really heated up the house nicely. Awesome!—— Only complaint for me was that there was a cleaning fee, a pet deposit, (and they requested maid tips) AND still required us to clean, launder towels, and remove our trash from the house to dump in the next town. All the perks convenience and comfort overshadowed this fact but it’s a consideration. PS. Do yourself a huge favor and drive all the feeder roads within an 8 mile area. Some stuff out there we missed that we wish we hadn’t. Also..bring a 4 wheel drive if you can..roads are narrow, gravelly, n steep. Enjoy!

Owner's Response: Thanks for the great review, and I appreciate all comments. The tip issue is certainly optional, there is obviously no tip required. On the day of departure. we do ask our guest to take their garbage. My housekeeper has a very small car and cannot fit trash bags into her auto. We only ask guests to put on a load of towels when departing to just give the housekeeper a head start and is also only optional. I am happy to hear my guest enjoyed his stay and got to acquaint themselves with the neighborhood and surrounding area. It is a very peaceful and private retreat, and such a nice escape from the busy world theses days.

Great weekend getaway!

  • 5 of 5

Loved the cabin. It was very clean and cozy. The front porch is fantastic and peaceful, really enjoyed reading in the morning and grilling at night! Hot tub was a great bonus and the weather was perfect for a night dip. Driveway in is a bit narrow, but go slow and you’re just fine! I highly recommend this cabin and it’s owneers were great to work with as well!

Great cabin getaway

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin and the area around it was beautiful! We enjoyed relaxing on the deck or in the hot tub at the end of the day. The gate on the deck was great for letting the dogs be outside with us. It was a great place to stay and conveniently located for day trips to both Asheville and Gatlinburg. The cabin was clean and Clad was easy to work with and very accommodating to our changing schedule. We hope to visit again!

Beautiful cabin.

  • 5 of 5

We went to the cabin for our honeymoon and was nothing but pleased with the outcome. A little scary at first because we arrived at night not knowing where to go. But we made it. So we advise to show up during the day time your first time going to the cabin! Defiantly want to go back for our one year anniversary of marriage! Thanks!!!

Owner's Response: Diana and her husband were delites to have as guests. They treated my cabin with very gentle care, and left kind gifts behind. They are welcome back anytime. I especially enjoyed encountering them in the neighborhood enjoying all it has to offer. I hope they do come back and we can visit more, they were that kind of guests. When you miss your guests that have stayed, that is when you realize you had someone special stay at your place........

A great little hideaway!

  • 5 of 5

A few friends and I spent our spring break here, and we really enjoyed it! Clad was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. Although there was no wifi, we survived! The area was beautiful and we had no trouble finding things to do. The hot tub was spectacular. We used it nearly every day! My friends and I will never forget the memories we made at Beartracks.
