Thank you for a Great Stay in Grand Haven!

  • 5 of 5

We had such a FUN girls vacation at the Fulton House in Grand Haven!

The cottage is adorable and had everything we needed readily available. It is just steps away from downtown, which was exactly what we were looking for.

The beds were comfortable, and we appreciated that the kitchen had all the necessities!

Thanks Again for the perfect spot to enjoy our Girls Trip!

Steps from downtown Grand Haven & Waterfront

  • 5 of 5

The Fulton House is perfectly located to enjoy downtown Grand Haven and the Waterfront! The local farmers market is set up a few blocks away and there are great restaurants steps away!

The house is adorable! There was plenty of room for our large family. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the pans and dishes we needed for cooking up a big breakfast, there were plenty of linens available, and the kids loved the closet full of games!

Stop by Lucy's and grab lunch for a day at the beach. K2 has a wonderful deck with a view of the water!

We can't wait to go back!

Awesome home

  • 5 of 5

My family arrived at the Fulton House and surprised how large it was". The owners have everything. Just like Caroline said "Just bring suntan oil and beach towels". The house has everything else. My toddlers loved the toy closet and ride on toys she had there. We have already booked for next year. Love the location, you can walk to everything.

Great Location but Not Worth the Hassle

  • 2 of 5

I loved the location and character of the home but would never rent from this home owner again. This home has extension cords throughout the home and a frayed wire on the cord dangling above the sink in the kitchen. I really cannot believe this home would pass an electrical inspection and was concerned about it all week. There are many knick knacks that are breakable in the home and although noted to be dog friendly, I had to go through and put many things away for our stay and then redistribute all the stuff before leaving. The list of things to do prior to check out was not doable when the owner has you out by 10am. And the biggest concern of mine was that although her terms state clearly that she will return the deposit check to you in the mail 2 weeks after rental, she does not do so. I spoke with her on the phone and she assured me she would not cash the check and that all was fine, but she did not return the check even after I'd repeatedly requested and offered to have it picked up. Today, I paid my bank to put a stop payment on the check because I am not willing to have a hefty deposit check floating out there. Once again, the location is awesome but renters beware, this is not an ideal rental situation.

Owner's Response: I apologize for your dissatisfaction with my rental property. Regarding your concern on the electrical, the house has been inspected as required for Grand Haven Rentals and passed with no issues. I also apologize for our misunderstanding regarding the deposit check. I normally just shred them. I will be glad to reimburse you for the cost you incurred to stop payment. I will review your concern regarding the nick knacks and take appropriate action. Sincerely, Caroline Merz
