Horizon South II, located at 17462 Front Beach Road, is a

gated, family-friendly community across the street from the beach

with easy beach access. The complex has many amenities available for

persons of all ages. It contains four swimming pools, a kiddie

pool, a hot tub, two lighted tennis courts, a shuffleboard court, a

basketball goal, horseshoes, lawn bowling, and an eighteen hole mini-

golf course. In addition, there is a recreation room with pool

tables, video games, and exercise equipment. Horizon South II is

located on the quiet, west end of Panama City Beach with the

southernmost condos within approximately 150 yards of the beautiful white sands of the Emerald Coast. Horizon South has security and provides a

safe, quiet environment for a relaxing vacation.

Very nice and affordable condo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Condo met all our expectations. Easy access to the beach....just a few minute walk. My kids LOVED the pool. We stayed for seven days and honestly did not want to leave. The price was affordable and owner return deposit in a timely manner. Will book again for our summer vacation.

World Series

We loved this condo! It is very well kept and clean. We had everything we needed to spend our week! The owners were very easy and nice to work with. I would just move in if I could! I can't wait until next year's World Series so we can stay there again!!!

Worse condo I ever rented!

Ed is not an honest man. You will not be able to save on this condo, even that price look good. He has a habit of collecting security deposits and usually don't return it. Condo look nice on a picture, but furniture are very old and uncomfortable, especially beds. Kitchen don't have nothing, except old pan and paper plates. Patio furniture is in a very sad shape. Condo have ants problem really bad, ants are everywhere in the kitchen, dining room and even on a couch. We saw couple of lizards living under the stairs. When we arrived first floor had a lot of sand. Spoons and forks were oily and dirty, I washed almost everything before let my kids use it. It far from a beach and you will need to cross busy road with non-stop traffic. I would not recommend this condo for families with kids. Florida is my family vacation destination for a last 12 years, and it was the worse condo I ever rented.

Owner's Response: This review was written after the renter received notice that she would not receive her deposit returned for several reasons as described below. Prior to receiving this notice this renter sent a very complimentary review on this web site. She had also said she had referred this condo to several prospective renters. My cleaning lady called me at 10:30 am to tell me that the tenants had not vacated the condo as required. The time of departure is 10 am and such notice is given in writing to renter. My cleaning lady sent me pictures of the horrible condition that the tenant left . There was food all over the floor, walls, and furniture. Cleaning lady stated she had to scrape food from the ceramic tile. In addition to the condo being filthy, there were scratches left on the living area table. (Have pictures). Table may have to be replaced. There was also food on the couch and chair. The upholstery will have to be professionally cleaned. The $200 deposit will not cover the costs incurred including extra hours I had to pay the cleaning lady. I am an honest man and resent this tenant's lies about my character. I have many tenants who will testify concerning my honesty in dealing with tenants.

Wonderful vacation!

We had a wonderful stay in Panama City Beach. Ed was great to work with and everything went smoothly. The condo was beautiful and perfect for our family. The upstairs served as a private unit for my daughters family while my family was downstairs most of the time. We had everything we needed for a great vacation. Close to beach and fun activities. Highly recommend waverunner tour to shell island. This was the first time I ever drove a waverunner and 6 of us went on this tour. It was beautiful and we were with dolphins also! Beaches were clean and very nice, food was great. Again this condo was PERFECT! and swimming pools were also nice and clean for the kids. Can't wait for next year! :)

Our Vacation

This condo is just as deplicted in the ad. It's beautiful, spacious and very convenient to shopping and the beach. We were ready to come back before we even left. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate to my liking and we woke up to thunderstorms 4 out of the 7 mornings. With these storms, we got to spend alot of time inside the condo. It was like home away from home. My husband and I were able to get our homework and midterms done because we had the wifi access, which was one of our deciding factors. The only thing that we never found on the property was the mini golf, but we didn't seek out office help. I would definitely recommend this property to others. There is plenty of room and a wonderful home away from home. We were so impressed with this property, that not only do we want to stay with the owners of this particular condo, but may look to purchase our own in the future. I just felt very safe in this "neighborhood" of condos. The front entrance is gated but I thought it was odd that the rear entrance/exit was not. This is nothing against the owner, but the property management may want to address this issue. A big thank you to Ed for making sure the rental went smoothly. Our deposit money was mailed out to me on our returning Monday. Everything just ran so smooth. Now, if we could just figure out how to book the sunshine the next time we are in the sunshine state!

Rental Condo

Nice condo. Met our needs. Was clean except for sand on loft floor. Had to vacuum before we unpacked. Not beachfront but a plus for us (less traffic). Neighbors frendly. Condo description was accurate. Owner provided good customer service; however found out spreads/blankets were not laundered between guests. Owner was upset that housekeeper had to launder spreads/blankets. We stripped the beds as instructed. It was my understanding that all bedding was to be laundered but obviously I was mistaken.

We bought this condo because of its proximity to the beach and because of the amenities of Horizon South. Panama City Beach has become a second home for our family. Many of our renters are repeat tenants, some of whom have been staying in our condo for several years.

Horizon South is conveniently located with easy access to all

areas of Panama City Beach via Panama City Beach Parkway. There are

all types of business establishments including grocery stores,

drugstores, and liquor stores within one mile. Less than a mile away is Frank Brown Park, the site of many summer softball tournaments. Just two miles away

is a huge new shopping, entertainment, and restaurant center, Pier Park.

It includes a sixteen-theater cinema, several restaurants, three large department stores, as well as many other retail establishments. Restaurants include the popular Jimmy Buffat's Margaritaville, Buffalo Wild Wings, Back Porch Oyster Bar, just to name a few. For your entertainment there is the world famous Tootsie's Orchid Lounge. There are also golf courses, water parks, mini-golf,and novelty stores nearby. Many other excellent restaurants are located nearby,some within walking distance.

  • This two-bedroom condo is located in the middle of the Horizon South complex. The condo itself is a two-bedroom loft with two full baths and a completely furnished kitchen. There is a queen-sized bed in the master bedroom, a queen-sized sleeper sofa, a queen-sized bed and queen-sized sleeper sofa in the loft bedroom. There are three televisions, including a new 32' hign def tv, and a DVD player. There is no phone service. Wi-fi is available in the condo. The unit also has a fenced patio for your privacy. This condo has undergone major renovations. The condo has been painted throughout with bright colors. This unit was recently updated with new ceramic tile throughout, accented by beautiful area rugs. It also has renovated bathrooms with new tub, vanity, and fixtures. New ceiling fans and light fistures have been installed. New furniture has also been added. In addition, new faux wood blinds were installed. The result is a bright, modern condo.
