About the property

House, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, Sleeps 6

Seagrape Cottage is a charming 3 bedroom, 2 bath beach cottage with unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico and just 35 steps to the white sand Gulf beach. Located at 601 Gulf Drive South in Bradenton Beach on Anna Maria Island, it is a privately owned turn-key furnished “Old Florida Style” beach house that's shaded by large Seagrape trees. The cottage has been updated with new appliances, kitchen and bathroom cabinets, tile, sofa, beds and furnishings. Seagrape Cottage still has the feel of a “beach house” while having the amenities guests have come to expect.

Seagrape is a 2 story cottage. Upstairs, there is a bedroom which has windows on all 4 sides that provide a panoramic view of both the Gulf and Bay. This upstairs bedroom has two twin beds, a flatscreen tv and lots of storage. Also upstairs is a bathroom with shower.

On the main floor, there are two bedrooms, one with a Queen size bed and flatscreen tv with dvd and one with a twin. The main floor has a full bath with tub/shower combination, a big living/dining area with large windows and flatscreen tv and a large dining table that seats six. A fully equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, stove with oven, most of the small appliances you could need plus a breakfast bar which seats four and a nook with views of the beach. In the living room, there is a sofa and loveseat. The sofa pulls out to a full size bed. Seagrape has free WiFi and cable.

One of Seagrape's favorite features is it's large wrap-around porch overlooking the Gulf. It's great for watching the Gulf, beautiful sunsets, eating outside or just relaxing.

So come and have a very enjoyable, memorable stay at Seagrape Cottage on Anna Maria Island!

We loved being in a historical home overlooking the gulf!

We had a wonderful time being right across the street from the beach! Love, love, love the wrap around porch and watching the sunsets. Beautiful old Florida historical home. Nice job on the upgrades!

Loved the cottage

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at Seagrape cottage - the discription says it all - great being across the street from beach and it is walking distance to lots of local flare - loved the porch but it can get very noisy from the traffic - not sure if it was just unusually busy but even at night could hear - that is why not 5 stars and new mattresses would be great - made lots of memories- have missed our morning coffee time on the porch since we've been back 😊

Nice beach cottage, great location

  • 4 of 5

Our family of six enjoyed our stay last week. This is a classic beach cottage with wrap around porch. The house was neat and clean. Traffic on Gulf Ave was a little noisy when sitting on porch, but not really a problem. Nice kitchen with everything we needed and a view of the Gulf! Trolley stop at door was convenient, and the house is steps to the beach.

We Loved the cottage! Felt right at home

  • 5 of 5

This was our second trip to Anna Maria. Everything was absolutely wonderful! We had rain during our stay during the daytime hours, so we really enjoyed the large front porch and furniture. Definitely can recommend ( & have) this cottage to others.

We'll be back!

  • 4 of 5

This is a lovely Old Florida cottage with loads of windows for great light and an airy feel. It's exactly as pictured, decorated perfectly. From the porch, which is getting some TLC now I believe, you have a view of the gulf and the passersby on Gulf Drive. The location was perfect for us, steps to the beach and just a few short blocks to Bridge Street--food, shopping, live entertainment, mini golf. Though the kitchen is nicely stocked with dishes and cookware, you'll need to buy everything other than salt and pepper for any cooking. Also, limited paper products are provided. All in all, this rental is an unbeatable value and Dan was terrific to work with. We look forward to a return trip!

Felt like perfect home in a perfect setting

  • 5 of 5

We loved staying here with our kids and my parents. It was 3 generations and every single person loved the house and location! The owners were also amazing! This was our second time staying with these owners (different location this time) and we were absolutely thrilled we choose them again. The porch was our favorite hangout and the view was perfect for the unbelievable sunsets. We look forward to being back!
