About the Owner
Please allow me to be your host! I am Diane Herman and I have been renting and managing vacation rentals in the Wildwoods since 2004. I am the owner of this property at 312 E Magnolia Ave. I own four Wildwood rental properties of my own, including a second larger unit in this building - a 4 bedroom plus den, 2 full bath unit with a huge private roof top deck. (Larger families - please inquire!) I am a realtor here on the island too - renting and managing dozens of other properties for other owners through my real estate agency. I have many many happy repeat renters and I would like to have your family return again and again too.

I have vacationed every summer of my 39 years in Wildwood Crest at least once per season sometimes more. We always preferred oceanfront Crest rentals. These include the Royal Hawaiian, Acacia, El Coronado, etc. When I married and had my own family we stayed at the Adventurer.. I prefer the Crest beach to the beaches of the Caribbean, even locales like Aruba. The expensive yet kitschy 70's called and want their decor back of the accommodations seem to add to the magic and charm of a vacation in the Crest. In summer 2014, the family of myself, husband and 15 year old son welcomed a new addition, our Benny. Benny is a Yankee (Boston if you must) Terrier. We could not vacation without our Benny. The only Crest hotel/motels that accommodate pets are the Royal Hawaiian and Admiral's Quarters. We stayed a few times but ultimately realized it was not a good fit......dare we venture outside our beloved Crest to Wildwood???? It is unheard of for a Crest snob. I spotted this rental on our last Crest trip with Benny in July 2015 from my computer at the Admiral's Quarters. On our way home we drove by. We took the plunge and booked a week in September of 2015. This review as of yet may seem lengthy and irrelevant...however, if you love Wildwood Crest as we do you must understand where I am coming from. So, we get to the rental.....drum roll...we were blown away. The accommodations are immaculate. The building itself incredibly well maintained. Diane, the owner, attentive and awesome from start to finish. The none oceanfront views....stellar! The amount of room/living space is like being home. The kitchen is night and day phenomenal from the "efficiency" kitchens of our beloved Crest. The balcony, amazing. Although accustomed to bringing our own, the unit came stocked with a bunch of go-to-vacation games, pieces intact (a huge pet peeve of mine). Speaking of "pets"....our Benny LOVED this rental. Benny loved the room he had, the walks we took including the walk right up onto the boardwalk and onto the Doggie Beach. Any concern we had over staying in the sub-par Wildwood as opposed to Wildwood Crest was a fallacy self created! We are devoted converts to this unit, its location and its owner, Diane. I could not recommend this rental enough....STAY HERE. It's that simple. You will not be disappointed. THANK YOU Diane for paving the way to expanding our narrowed, prejudicial view on non-Crest vacationing and for welcoming our Benny. We will be back!
We had a great stay at this location. It was the spur of the moment for my birthday weekend, and we had a ball. The weather was location was great and there is also indoor secure parking. It was well worth the visit we will definitely book again next year.

Having a parking spot was awesome and we would not rent a vacation rental in this area without one. We loved having an outside patio and our two dogs loved laying outside, soaking up the nice weather.

My family and I have been coming to Wildwood for years. We normally stay at a hotel. However, as the family has grown, so have the prices of the hotel rooms. We opted for a condo this year and we are so happy that we did. The condo was only a short walk to the boardwalk and peir three. The three bedroom, two bathroom condo met our needs and the needs of our children and their friends. There was plenty of room in this well maintained unit. My 18 year old son even commented that it felt like home.

Activity and Interests
With over 9 million visitors each year, the Wildwoods are one of the top family vacation destinations in America! Wildwood was ranked the best beach in New Jersey in the 2008 Top 10 Beaches Contest sponsored by the New Jersey Marine Sciences Consortium.
Often voted as among the best in the country, the Wildwood beaches stretch on for five expansive miles — making them the largest and widest at the Jersey shore and on the entire Atlantic Coast. The very best part? With no beach tags required, they’re FREE! FREE BEACHES!
Overlooking it all is the world-famous Wildwood Boardwalk. This is 2 miles and 38 blocks packed end to end with stores, shops, water parks, eateries, live entertainment and amusement piers with over 100 rides and attractions. The boardwalk features a trolley called “The Tramcar”, which runs from end to end. “Watch the Tramcar Please! Watch the Tramcar Please!” If you have never heard this for yourself in person, you are missing out.
The sights, the sounds and the smells of the Wildwoods Boardwalk are pure sensory overload! There is something for everyone here. The Wildwood Boardwalk features several amusement parks and shops, most notably three piers collectively known as “Morey’s Piers”. You will find over a hundred rides and three different water parks to choose from.
Due to the very wide beaches, the beach is home to many sporting events, concerts, car shows, and monster truck rallies in view of the boardwalk. A stage is set off to the side of the boardwalk near Mariner's Landing Pier where several performances are held throughout the summer.
Wildwood is home to over 200 motels, built during the Doo-Wop era of the 1950s and 1960s, in an area recognized by the state of New Jersey, known as the Wildwoods Shore Resort Historic District. The term 'doo-wop' is used to describe this unique, space-age architectural style. The motels here are unique in appearance, with Vegas-like neon signs. A 1950s Doo Wop museum includes property from demolished motels such as neon signs and furniture. There are many “Neo-Doo Wop” buildings in the area as well, such as a neon lit Wawa and a 1950s styled Acme Supermarket, and even a Doo-Wop TD Bank!

Cancellation Policy: There can be a refund of all money paid upon re-rental of the time, to the extent that that there is no loss to the owner. There is a $200.00 cancellation fee to cover the expenses of the transaction. The more notice, the better the chances for a full recovery, but I have been very successful re-renting time even with just 24 hours’ notice. I will work to mitigate damages.

- This is a large first floor condominium with a wrap-around front deck, located just 1/2 a block from the beach, boardwalk, and in between the two largest Morey's ride piers. This unit is all on one level, one flight above the ground floor/garage level. There is one wide indoor split flight of stairs to climb to get up into the unit. Once inside, there are no stairs at all. RENTALS ARE TO FAMILIES ONLY. WE DO NOT RENT TO GROUPS, AND NEVER TO 'UNDER 25' GROUPS. PLEASE DO NOT INQUIRE! *CHECK IN TIME - 4 p.m. CHECK OUT TIME - 12 noon *Renter will provide his own LINENS, TOWELS, PAPER PRODUCTS, and basic kitchen supplies like trash bags, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, a kitchen sponge, personal products, etc. *LINENS NEEDED - 1 QUEEN; 2 FULL; 4 TWIN * PARKING: 2 reserved garage parking spaces.
