SeaScape Condominiums #2321. Newly renovated Winter 2009 after Hurricane Ike.
From the 3rd floor unit with a private balcony looking easterly
over the Gulf of Mexico, this peaceful venue will bring you back time
and again. This complex is also RIGHT ON THE BEACH! Other hotel
and condo complexes on the island APPEAR to have a beach location
but many of them require that you CROSS AN EXTREMELY BUSY 4 LANE
ROAD (Seawall Blvd) to get to the water. Our complex is RIGHT ON
THE BEACH. You will NOT HAVE TO CROSS A MAJOR ROADWAY OR TAKE YOUR
CAR to enjoy the surf!
Just minutes from golf, great restaurants and maritime antique
shopping along the Strand, SeaScape Condominiums is as close to
downtown as you can get yet still has the beach location. A short
drive takes you to NASA, the Johnson Space Center, Kemah and the
Boardwalk! Galveston Mardi Gras, Dickens on the Strand and other
events await your arrival. This is also a great overnight stay if
you are booked for one of the Galveston cruises lines.
SeaScape Condominiums is also a short distance to the NEW
Our private adult and child's pool area is for guests only and
includes a hot tub and bath house, or you can step over the dunes
and jump into the waves. Why stay at a hotel when you can have the
luxuries of home RIGHT ON THE BEACH!

The team at ABSea Sales and Rentals manage our unit for us and are
very accommodating. We know you will love your stay!
I've been to Galveston numerous times and have always stayed on the Seawall. This condo was PERFECT for us! 3rd floor (no footsteps above us) & close enough to both the elevator and the stairs. Condo is very clean, fully stocked with everything we needed. Bunks are big enough for teenagers to sleep comfortably in. Pool area is very nice as well. Major selling points for me are that we did not have to cross the street to get to the beach and how quiet it is not being right in the middle of everything on the Seawall. We arrived at 10 pm on a Friday night and check in was a breeze. Security guard was wonderful to deal with. Official check in on Saturday morning was painless as well. Aaron was great to deal with via email while making reservations, too. Next Galveston trip will definitely be at Seascape.
This was my first time staying at Seascape, but it will not be my last! My sister and I wanted to go on a sister's trip, all by ourselves, no kids, husbands or friends. Just us, for three nights! I was in charge of finding the perfect place. After looking, comparing and narrowing it down to my 'top 3' picks. I chose this unit. My family and I have been coming to Galveston for many years. We've stayed way out on the west end; right there in the Strand District, and once, ONLY once, we stayed in a condo (9th floor) there on the seawall. Even that far up, there was no way to spend an evening or a peaceful early morning on the deck, it's never quiet. There's always noise from the traffic. I knew we wanted further out. I love that Seascape is beachside, no road to cross...but honestly, it is beachfront.....at least in my humble opinion it is. There is a a bridge to cross from the property to the sand, just like some of the beachfront homes, further west on the island!!! There's 24 hour security, we never pulled in that the security guard didn't step out and make sure we were suppose to be there. The covered parking is nice, and it feels VERY safe. We never felt anxious going from my truck to the third floor. You need an access code to enter the pool area, and you need the same code to go through the gate, over the bridge. Clearly a great idea, to keep any riff raff from strolling from the beach onto Seascape property undetected.
The condo was darling, the bedroom picture needs to be updated. There's a new quilt and pillows w/shams, that are not in the picture posted. The bed is VERY comfortable.....and I'm picky. I don't want to feel like I've just slept on a mattress at the local Motel 6. Everything was exceptionally clean. It's cute, comfy, and it feels 'beachy'!!! The balcony faces east, (I highly recommend this side of the complex) you can sit on the balcony and watch the sun come up. You CAN hear the water, just like Aaron told me I could, prior to renting! The water view is wonderful.
The only thing I can think of, that would be useful, is additional ice trays. Had I been there with my husband, for a full week....I'd have gotten a pkg and donated them. There was nothing we needed and 'wished' we had. The unit had everything. I need to get busy, I want to plan a trip back to Galveston, with my husband this time! Thanks Aaron, our trip was fun, this condo did not disappoint!!!
Unit is small. View of Gulf fails to identify what is below the bottom border - top of reservation building and parking lot. Unit was clean and well-stocked.
I rented this condo for a 4 day weekend for myself and my four kids. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the unit. You could tell it had been updated. The only item I had trouble with was the stove. The only big element didn't work which made cooking a little slower. Everything else was great. The view was nice and the beds comfortable. We will definitely come back and stay again. The complex is a great place to go with kids. The pool was great!
The condo and its location is perfect for 3 or 4 people. Being on the water side and not having to cross that busy street is a major plus! The condo is bright and cheery and the pool, grills, play area and beach access are wonderful. Great place for families!
Aaron was very responsive in getting us booked at such a short notice. The condo itself was real nice and the grounds maintained at the BBQ and Pool area. We have been to Galveston before and stayed at the Emerald it's NOT the Emerald but I can say this is a good place for families with kids. The Beach was horrible period (not the owners fault) seaweed comes in everyday although it's graded every night it's putrid smell is horrible and really not to inviting to swim in. We got into the water a few times but very disapointing if your going here for the beach I wouldn't at least not this summer 2014.
The condo, was clean and for the most part quiet, some idiot pulled the fire alarm at 6am on our last day there. The only few things I'd change would be the sleeper sofa is not comfortable to just sit in and the king bed squeeks (lol)
Overall we had a good time and will probably go back and bring our 9 year old she stayed at nana's she would of loved the bunkbed and pool.
The layout of the condo was perfect for our family of 4 with 2 small kids. The bunk beds were perfect and much larger than other condos we have stayed. The kitchen was well equipped and I was able to cook several meals. The furnishings were also very nice. The view was great even with the enormous amount of seaweed (no getting around it) and the location was great. Our only problem was the king size bed. It was VERY creaky and it was very difficult not to wake up everytime you switched position. I know it is a large expense but may be worth the investment to replace. Overall everything was great but I definitely needed a nap when we got home.
