Great Finger Lakes Weekend Retreat

  • 5 of 5

We spent the weekend here to decompress from the everyday rat race. This was the perfect place! The house had great lake views and a perfect view of the sunset. The house was overall neat and had everything needed for a lakeside getaway. A great place to unwind and forget about life.

Great location. Adequate accommodations. Nicely decorated.

Comfortable temperature but would

have been nice to have the screens

installed in the doors and window

during this beautiful weather.

It was a very enjoyable stay. We would return and recommend to

Owner's Response: Sorry about the screens. They should've been up. I will inform my property manager to ensure they are there for the season. Sorry for any inconvenience.

My wife and I spent the weekend celebrating our anniversary and her birthday and this was the perfect place! The house had beautiful views anytime of the day and was central to everything we wanted to do. We will definitely be returning to this spot!

Great little cottage right on the lake. Near lots of wineries and outdoor activities.

  • 4 of 5

The cottage was overall very clean and nice. The parking was very difficult with 3 cars. There is no WiFi so when my sister had to do her homework she had to sit out in her car by the road to pick up on the owner’s other house which had WiFi. Mike was nice but slow to getting back on email replies and instead of answering questions just told me to contact his property manager, Karen. Karen was very nice and helpful. The area was very calm and peaceful but the neighbor to the right of the house was rude to my sisters and I and demanded we didn’t have bon fires since he felt the wind would blow the smoke into his house. The Cottage is very nice for a short stay but difficult to comfortably fit 4 adults (there is a bedroom downstairs with a queen bed and a sleeper sofa in the living room which my sisters said was very uncomfortable). Overall, it was a nice trip.
