This is what a vacation in Maui is all about! Wailea's Ekahi Village is a 33-acre luxury "low rise" condominium complex. Unit #6-A is a ground-floor, corner unit in Ekahi's lower village that was recently renovated (Nov 2014) from top to bottom.

Location is key in Ekahi, and #6-A is in truly prime; extremely close to the main pool and beach, on the flatest part of the property. (Buildings located in the upper village require a walk up a fairly healthy hill - made more difficult with kids and beach/pool gear.) The unit is an easy 50 yard, flat walk to the heated, oceanfront pool and sandy Keawakapu Beach - one of the most beautiful on Maui. In this rental you will be as far away as possible from any traffic noise, and the pool, beachfront and local boardwalk are right outside your door.

Unit 6A is a privately owned unit - we've had a full calendar since we bought in 2006, and we're proud to welcome many repeat guests. We recently completed a total remodel project (Nov 2014) that included all new kitchen and bathroom alder cabinetry, beautiful granite countertops and tile flooring in the kitchen and both bathrooms, gorgeous walk-in showers with glass doors and pebble tile shower floors, kitchen appliances, new A/C units in both the Master bedroom and LR, updated lighting throughout the condo, comfortable and durable furniture and beautiful tropical window coverings, new linens throughout and updated decor. The condo also features updated electronics (HD flat screens & BlueRay players) and an iPod stereo connection. For extra sleeping space we have a new double-size sleeper sofa as well as a double-size Murphy Bed, plus an extra large private lanai perfect for grilling your dinner and enjoying a cocktail - it opens to flat grassy area - perfect for kids to stretch their legs. The kitchen is open, fully-equipped and boasts partial ocean views; enjoy casual meals at the large serving/eating island or on our new dining table. The open kitchen is stocked with everything you will need, whether you're cooking for 2 or a crowd. If you must keep in touch with the "real world" enjoy FREE high-speed wireless internet access.

The comfortable master suite has a king bed with full-bathroom, private lanai, large, organized closet with plenty of extra towels and linens, and full-size HE washer/dryer in another closet. The condo features 2 full-bathrooms with walk-in showers and lots of comfortable living & dining space.

We've tried to think of everything to help make your stay more enjoyable. When you start packing, save some money and don't pay the airline's extra baggage fees -- just pack your swimsuit and use some of the great "bonus gear" we have waiting for you:

Little Kid’s gear; "Pack & Play" crib & sheets, booster seat/high chair, baby monitor, buckets, shovels, float toys for the pool, life jackets.

Kids’ and Grown-up Kids’ gear: beach toys, rolling cooler, beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach towels, football, frisbee.

Specialty gear: two sets of new golf clubs - Ben Hogan Apex irons, Callaway X-18s, and four sets of snorkeling equipment.

Great proximity to the beach and pool.

We have always stayed in various condos in upper Ekahi Village, many of which had great views of the ocean. This was probably our 15th year of staying there and we really wanted a short walk to the beach and main pool this time. We were not disappointed!!! It's a lovely condo, and the remodel was nicely done. The king bed was very comfortable, which is important to us when we're staying somewhere for any length of time. The kitchen is well equipped and stocked with the basic spices, olive oil, etc, as well as the fridge non-perishables and even beer, wine and other adult beverages. We will waive the $175 cleaning fee for stays 7+ nights, and can also arrange mid-stay cleans for a reduced rate.

Prices listed are for stays that are 7+ nights. Nightly fee is slightly higher per night for reservations less than 7 nights. We ask for a deposit equivalent to 2-nights' rental to secure the reservation... typically between $5550-$800, and a $250 damage deposit (fully refundable provided no damage occurs or additional cleaning is required upon checkout). Balances are due 90 days from arrival.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 7 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 14 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
