Our family had a great time. A wonderful cabin. The owner was very friendly and helpful. She welcomed us and made our stay comfortable. The cabin was perfect and the views were magnificent. I will definitely come again.
This is a nice cottage with easy access to the water. Loved that there was a boat, a canoe and a paddle boat available. Loved the view from the balcony and wished we had been coming to this place when our kids were little since we often fished nearby.
Overall Very Nice
Great location beautiful sunsets. Even saw the space station fly over twice. However for fishing this time of year very heavy vegetation along the shoreline.
A bit disappointed!
Old grill, rusty& dirty, boats full of water, deck ladder full of spider webs, could not swim, seaweed everywhere, beds uncomfortable, pullout hard to sleep on, no ac,etc What was advertised was not available. Owner was accommodating & friendly. We were disappointed not being able to swim & go boating.
I am sad to only now learn that certain aspects of your stay in our lovely lakeside cottage were not in line with your expectations. While you were here you appeared to be greatly enjoying your stay. Had you mentioned any of your discontents at the time, you would have certainly been accommodated. I cannot help but feel that it was a bit unfair for you to have kept this to yourself, only to write such a scathing review afterwards. We do our best to maintain an authentic lakeside experience in a charming historic cottage setting (including the occasional spider or seaweed), and it is saddening how easy can be for a single review to damage a good reputation. Thank you for trying us out and regret that you did not make the most of your stay, and sincerely wish you all the best.
Great little Get-Away
We really enjoyed our stay. It's easy to find. It's in a great location. It's within easy reach of several towns and attractions. The cabin is rustic but still well appointed. We love the wrap-around porch and the balcony off the upstairs bedroom. We were able to take in some beautiful sunsets from there. The owner is very nice and helpful whenever she is needed. Overall, we had a fantastic time and wouldn't hesitate to rent this property again
