About Pete Vega
Pete Vega Manatee Property Mgmt, Our new family lives just outside of Orlando which is approximately 1.5 hours from Crystal River. We are all Florida natives; Pete grew up in Inverness which is the town next to our vacation condos and why we chose Crystal River. We like the laid back sleepy little town feel and fell in love with the areas springs, specifically Three Sisters. What started as a weekend get a way has turned into a wonderful place we are happy to share.
Pete Vega purchased this Condo in 2000
Why Pete Vega chose Springs at Kings Bay
We chose Crystal River because I grew up close to the springs and remember swimming in them as a kid. I enjoyed frequent field trips and summer camps to see the manatees and swim in the springs. My first scuba trip was in King Springs, around the corner from our place. We hope you enjoy the area as much as we have....
What makes this Condo unique
Although the City officials do not want visitors for less than 90 nights, Crystal River is a quiet little town with plenty to offer. The springs are beautiful and less than a 2 minute paddle from our dock. On any given morning you can see manatees and dolphin swim by our dock, boat or paddle to waterfront restaurants and enjoy the nature preserve in Kings Bay. A 7 mile scenic boat ride takes you to the Gulf of Mexico where there is fantastic fishing, nature viewing and in the summer, scallop harvesting. You will enjoy near by Homosassa Wildlife Park and Indian burial grounds which leave a lot to explore. Golf courses, bike/hiking trails close will allow for an active vacation if desired.

Gazebo, water and three sisters= Perfect
We found the property to be very clean and well maintained. The location was great, and we really enjoyed the gazebo. We didn't use the kayaks, as we trailered our boat, but that was a great option to have. Our dog got a little anxious and chewed a door. The owner was very understanding, and of course we paid for the repair, but it was nice that he didn't get upset with us. We live about 25 minutes away, but it was still a great Chang of pace for a few days and no hotel. Our small children loved running in circles around the condo. I would highly recommend this property to others.
Gazebo, water and three sisters= Perfect
We were very impressed. The property was clean and had everything we needed. We did not use the kayaks, as we trailered our boat, but what a great option. The location was wonderful. It's just a short boat ride to three sisters a must do, if in this area. Although, we don't live far away it was a nice change of pace. Our little ones loved the gazebo as well. I would highly recommend this rental to friends and family.
The proximity to Three Sisters Springs is just a couple hundred yards if that. Just a few minutes away in the provided kayaks. The beds were comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed, although it was mainly used for breakfast as there are many good restaurants minutes away. The permanent neighbor Patty was also very helpful in providing information about the area.
Convenient and fun
We stayed at this property over a holiday weekend and found it to be wonderful. It is nothing fancy but perfect for boaters who want to stay on the water. The access to 3 sisters springs is as easy as it can get and the kayaks provided with the property are a huge hit.
I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a no frills great time in Crystal River.
What a great rental....
We rented this property last minute for a week in March 2018. I was at first hesitant because I usually rent private homes due to wanting privacy and no neighbors. We arrived at this condo and it is move and small, 4 units total and the property was beautifully kept and literally right on top of the water and the unit was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The Kayaks that are included in the rental are a bonus and a half considering the canal that is approx five feet from the back door drops you out right at the head of three sisters spring (which if you stand on the dock you can look to your right and see it) and it is gorgeous. We bought some inner tubes and floated and kayaked in the springs every single day. Once your in the springs you get to experience swimming with the manatees free of charge and endless snorkeling..... every single day there were at least two and sometimes more manatees right at our dock just hanging out. There’s a grill and a nice little patio out the sliding glass door off the living room and the woman who lives in Unit 2 and caretakes the grounds was the friendliest, nicest woman..... she can pretty much help you with any small issue you may run into and even gives great advice on eating establishments and is very knowledgeable about the do’s and dont’s Of the waterways and the state park grounds. The laundry facility is located right in the side of the units and is very reasonable at $1.00 to wash and $1.50 to dry. We loved his property and cannot wait to come back and enjoy the beauty offered by the springs and this great location. Also a side note, we ate out almost every night locally within a mile radius from the house and we didn’t find one eating establishment that wasn’t excellent food and great service... FYI: little more upscale Greek Restaurant that surely deserves a five star rating is Taverna Manos, look it up and try it because you won’t be disappointed. Thank you for a wonderful, enjoyable stay and see ya soon! A++++++++++

Very beautiful scenery out your back door! Loved everyone around us and kids had a blast on the water and fishing. Very clean and comfortable.
The City of Crystal River is built around Kings Bay, a manatee

manatees are in abundance. Summer offers a warm area for all types of

you comfortable. Easy access to the Gulf of Mexico for year round
fishing and when in season, scalloping. Fast becoming an area known
for ecotourism with a large number of nature trails, parks and a
canoe trail. For the Golfing enthusiasts we have 9 courses enough to
keep you busy all week. Lots of shopping for the bargain hunters.
