Tranquil and peaceful.

My husband and I stayed at Nature's Bounty from May 30 until until June 04, 2016. It was not long enough!! The cabin is clean and well equipped. The carport is a nice addition. The location is perfect. Walking distance to lots of shopping and site seeing but it feels like you are far away from the hustle and bustle. The screened porch was our favorite place; we spent more time on it than anywhere else. Oh, and Jonathan Creek.......I just can't find the appropriate words to describe how peaceful the sound of it is. We could have stayed there forever! We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend Nature's Bounty to anyone planning a trip to Maggie Valley. There is no doubt that we will visit again and hopefully have a much longer time to stay.

First let me say we travel a good bit and this was a wonderful cabin. The kitchen was so well stocked we were able to cook a Christmas feast without using anything I brought from home. Karen and Tom go out of there way to make the cabin so homey 5 days was not long enough. The creek right out your back door is a bonus. Loved sitting in the hot tub on the screened in porch listening to the rushing water. We also enjoyed the little town of Waynesville there are lots of little shops. We would highly recommend this cabin. Thank you for a great rental we loved it!!

Cozy, charming, felt like home.

We brought my aged parents and they really felt comfortable; they loved the big screened porch with rocking chairs, day bed, hot tub and all overlooking the creek. Dad loved stretching out for a nap on the day bed. Close to everything in a Maggie, easy access with no steep drives, were bonuses. Also, charcoal grill, gas grill and fire pit for every type of outdoor cooking. We will definitely come back!

Enjoyable Stay at Nature's Bounty

  • 5 of 5

We spent 9 nights here with our dog. We came from NY and had family from TN join us. Love the rental - nice layout, comfortable living room and dining area with a well equipped kitchen. Great screen porch with hot tub and comfortable day bed. Enjoyed the seating area on the front deck as well as the covered car port for the motor cycles. Fantastic location on the creek and close to shops, dining, festival grounds and museum. Close to Cherokee, Blue Ridge and Smoky Mt. National Park. Our third year and third different rental in Maggie Valley. This is our favorite and we hope to be back next year. Thank you for a great place. Oh yes, we loved the fire pit by the creek too and our boxer loved running around like crazy in the yard.

Nature's Bounty so accurately describes this "home".

We just this evening got home and could not wait to thank Tom and Karen for allowing us to rent their awesome, peaceful hidden gem of paradise. We have rented in Chimney Rock and Hendersonville for years, but NO MORE! Nature's Bounty was perfect from the time we saw it as we drove in the driveway, and it only got better. It was so nicely furnished and the floorplan was spacious. The upstairs is a suite of its own, the A-framed second story windows offered a gorgeous mountain view while lying in bed, my husband's favorite. The bathrooms were modern with spacious stone tiled showers. My favorite was the large family space with room for everyone to sit and relax and watch large flat screen TV. Two of the bedrooms also had flatscreens. AND THE SCREENED PORCH! We spent many hours out there playing board games on the large table with chairs and listening to the creek. Oh my, the early morning mountain view from the rocking chairs sitting on screened porch just took my breath away. Spent mornings out there with my coffee talking with God and reflecting on the beauty before me. Surrounded by woods, squirrels, birds. We truly DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE and are already checking the calendar so we can return. We took long walks in the morning and were even offered apples from the tree of a neighbor a few blocks away. We walked to gift shops, ice cream, and a mexican restaurant is so close you don't need to move your car. I know this review is long but I cannot honestly say enough about this home and it's owners. We lacked absolutely nothing. Thank you Tom and Karen. We felt so at home we even washed the towels we used when getting out of the hot tub! Buckeye trees, black walnut trees, apple tree and grape vine all right there in the yard. We had a wonderful time, see you again SOON! -- I will add, it's wise to stop at the grocery store on your way there. Nearest Ingles we found was about 12 miles away in Waynesville. Not a problem at all, just a suggestion.

Location

Why This Property? We fell in love with it! The house and the location. Of course we put a lot of work into the place, new kitchen, added the back portch, added the 1/2 bath in the loft, put in the 'laundry shack', and added air conditioning.

Unique Bebefits? I guess the 2 creeks on the property and the location stand out the most. Not to mention the awesome porch by the creek for relaxation.
