Why Tom and Karen Albert chose Maggie Valley
Why This Property? We fell in love with it! The house and the location. Of course we put a lot of work into the place, new kitchen, added the back portch, added the 1/2 bath in the loft, put in the 'laundry shack', and added air conditioning.
What makes this House unique
Unique Bebefits? I guess the 2 creeks on the property and the location stand out the most. Not to mention the awesome porch by the creek for relaxation.

Maggie Valley Cabin Perfection!
Great cabin situated in the perfect Maggie Valley location to maximize relaxation and minimize travel distance to local attractions like the Blue Ridge Parkway's hiking trails, picturesque overlooks, and waterfalls. We even spotted elk crossing the roadway! The two-bedrooms (queen-sized beds) and the loft with another queen-sized bed and a pullout couch offered plenty of room for our family to attend and enjoy our son's weekend wedding held nearby the property (there is another pullout couch in the living room downstairs). Extra pillows and blankets were available in the loft. As bicyclists, we linked up with the local BicycleHaywoodNC group who shared their knowledge of the nearby routes for several days of challenging riding, which made the hot tub practically a necessity for our worn and weary legs upon our return. The cool autumn evenings were the perfect time to hang out around the fire pit with a roaring fire as we listened to the creek trickling by. Truly idyllic. While there is a Publix and Ingles supermarket about 15 minutes away if you want to grab some food to cook in the well-appointed kitchen or grill out in the yard, the nearby Snappy's Italian Restaurant (tell Garrett the folks from Florida sent you) offers pretty great pizza at very reasonable prices. We stayed ten days, and truly had an amazing time.
Thank you for the great review. We truly believe Natures bounty is a piece of heaven. Please come back and enjoy again!
Doesn’t get much better in Maggie Valley!
It was beautiful
We love sight seeing and it was so relaxing we didn't really have to go anywhere
Creek is perfect
We had a great week at the cabin. Was a little alarmed when we first arrived because Hillbilly Jam was going on at fairgrounds next door. Music was very loud. Fortunately that was only that night. Might want to check fairground schedule before your visit. Cabin is in great location, easily accessible to Cherokee, Asheville and Blue Ridge Parkway. We loved the backyard and sitting by the creek.
It Feels Like Home
We didn’T have the monsoon rains like last year so we were able to spent more time in Jonathan Creek. We also enjoyed four waterfalls, hiking, putt-putt, arcades, gem mining, visiting old friends and just hanging out and enjoying the mountains.. Thanks so much.
