Fantastic stay!
First of all, we arrived in the late evening to a bottle of wine and plenty of coffee for the morning. Even cream in the fridge! The apartment is spacious, very very well equipped (down to the tobasco and the stevia!), and well located. It is a pleasant downhill walk directly into el Centro and the Jardin... taxis abound at the bottom if you prefer not to walk back up. The maid Margarita is so pleasant, thorough and will do your laundry (and we didn’t ask)! The key was left at the guard gate for our entry at our arrival - guard was expecting us! This is a winner!
Great location
We were here at a really hot time for May and we appreciated the air conditioning. It has a good roof top terrace with lush foliage between the houses, so relaxing. The manager and the maid are the best and so helpful when you need something. It’s located in a small guarded complex where you can feel relaxed and also enjoy the pool and health club. My place to stay in SMA.

A great place to hang. Obviously it is not for the beach crowd but
that's why you are here. A place to hang back and connect with
Mexican culture, a town with historic and architectural
significance, a non touristy environment and a good mix of
restaurants and shopping. There are a lot of fun side trips, the
hot springs, pottery tours, and historic cities like Querertaro and
Guanajato. We took a trip last year to Xillitle, made famous by the
English eccentric Edward James, you will get insight on the term
eccentric after a visit.
