Condo comes completly furnished. Condo faces ocean with full ocean
view from it's 9x24 ft. private balcony located on the 8th floor.
Beach front pool and Jacuzzi strategically placed on the south side
of the building(with view of beach and bay)to catch every golden ray
of South Padre Islands sunshine from morning through late afternoon.
Coin-op laundry/ Covered parking with elevators/ pass to weight room
and racquetball courts at Sunshine Health Club located beach front at
5600 Gulf Blvd. between Morningside& Coronado Drives.
We enjoyed the condo very much. It is a little dated but we came to SPI for the beach! It had a new flat screen TV, Internet access, and a comfortable bed. This is a great deal for a gulf front unit & I would rent it again without question. The owner was very easy to deal with & was clear on directions for access etc. GREAT VALUE.
The condo was clean and we were very pleased overall with our stay. The location can't be beat and the kids loved eating meals on the balcony watching the ocean. My only complaint (and I know it isn't anything the owner can fix) is the parking situation in the parking garage. The first few nights we were able to get a space and didn't have any problems. We drive a large SUV and I got up at 1 am with a note in the door saying our car was going to be towed. It claimed that we were parked in a reserved space and that our car was over sized. I went down and there wasn't anything posted about the space being reserved and our car was parked in the lines with plenty of space on each side of the vehicle. It was the morning we were leaving or I would have went to the office and had them explain the note because what it was claiming was not apparent. I moved the car to an outside parking space. Overall I would stay here again. I would just park outside instead of in the garage.
The property was located closed to the restaurants and shopping. The walk to the ocean was short and beach chairs and umbralla rental was right there on the property beach. Parking for large vehicles in the underground garage was very difficult. The unit was as described and we had a wonderful quiet get away.
The Inverness condo was literally on the sand in S. Padre. The building is extremely old however, and needs a facelift badly (paint etc.) but the unit was comfortable and had an amazing balcony and view. Other rants were that only 1 elevator was working the whole time, so the wait for it from the 8th floor was very long, and the bed was not very comfortable either.
All in all, we enjoyed our stay though. The price wasn't bad for S. Padre but just wanted to point out a few things that would've made it even better.
Location of this property is perfect,ocean front view very close to restaurants,bars etc.the condo itself is good and it had everything we needed.I contacted the owner several times to ask questions and he responded promptly and was very nice.We wanted to stay another day but unfortunately condo was already booked.Overall I would say our stay was great and we had a great time.We definitely would go back.
