Hi Jayne, We all had a fabulous time over New Year's at Long-point Beach Cabin. Although the weather was a little cool, the blue skies & sunny days were perfect. We saw some beautiful sunsets & it is always so relaxing to curl up by your big open fire place. Thanks Again for letting us use your wonderful cabin.

Aimless wandering, comfortable home
This cabin is larger than it looks and has the rustic smell of a wood fire!! The location is wonderful and sunrises with fog drifting among the islands were mystical. I stayed with 3 girlfriends for 2 nights and after they left my husband, daughter and two granddaughters arrived. The girls were so excited to be ON the beach. As the tide went out we followed it and discovered huge beds of sanddollars (please do not pick them up). Lunches 15 minutes away in Coupeville were luscious. We suggest Front Street Grill for amazing mussels and Cafe Langley in Langley is a perfect place to eat as you get off the ferry. Thank you, Jayne, for a perfect little slice of heaven. Oh and grab some pie at Greenbank Farms!!!
Cozy with a beautiful view!
We so enjoyed the view and the comfortable atmosphere at the Long Point Cabin. When you enter you will be transported to a different time with relaxing comfortable couches and chairs. We loved all the little decorative items it really added to the spirit of the place. It was also very pet friendly. We had 5 adults and a medium sized dog in our group for the Christmas Holiday. We felt it was better than the listing described. We slept well, loved walking on the beach and will be coming back again! Thank you, Jayne
Cozy Winter Get Away
I imagine this place is a blast in the summer- especially given the kayaks and boats, big deck and outdoor shower & fire pit- but it also makes a great quiet winter get away!
With a huge indoor fireplace, a wood burning stove and big windows overlooking the sound it's the perfect place to escape the city. We hunkered down and watched a winter storm and when the rain stopped wandered the miles of beach and enjoyed the views.
Tons of room & plenty of beds for a group- but cozy enough for a couple.
sea and fire
my mates and I stayed here in the days leading up to my wedding and I couldn't have asked for a better hub. The cabin projected a perfect pacific-northwest coastal living context for those visiting from other parts of the globe.
the very charming living-room has vaulted ceilings, a fireplace and and an incredible view of the beach/ open water. The dining has a wood burning stove and the same view of the sea. The whole place is clad in real wood paneling and smells of beautiful cedar! I loved how the indoor and outdoor, casual meeting areas maintain a dual focus on fire features and the ocean. If you like to cook, the kitchen is equipped with just about everything you could want to prepare a meal (mixer, food processor, tons of pots and pans of all sizes-too much to list here)
We didn't have time to use the array of recreational water toys, but will certainly look into it on our next visit.
Cozy cabin right on the beach
Had a great time staying at the long point cabin on Penn Cove. The cabin sits right on the beach with a beautiful view of the ocean. Great location with plenty of activities to do. We went kayaking out in the cove, had a great bike ride on the surrounding quiet roads through the countryside, as well as hiked up Ebey's Landing to a fantastic view of the water. Great food options in downtown Coupeville and we also barbecued burgers out on the deck. Property was very clean and well taken care of, I highly recommend staying here, I know I will be back again soon!
Penn Cove Stay
We spent a sunny filled week at this very comfortable home on Long Point. The beach is great, full of mussels and clams to eat. Great crabbing also. Neighbors all very friendly and helpful. Our dog had a great time playing on the beach and water. Herons and Bald Eagles on the beach looking for food. One morning we were entertained by a pod of Orca Whales. Can't get better than that!
Activity and Interests
Ebey’s Prairie, Penn Cove, Fort Casey, miles of beaches and
Deception Pass State Park are all easily accessible and provide
beautiful sites for boating, hiking, biking, kayaking and picnicking.
Seasonal clamming and crabbing are also available.
For antiques and island history visit Coupeville. The nearby city of
Langley has great shopping, a small movie theatre and numerous art
galleries. Park your car at Keystone Ferry dock, and ride the ferry
to Port Townsend for the afternoon. Perhaps just spend the day in
quiet relaxation, reading, and enjoying the beauty of the beach.
Finish the evening off with a dinner at one of Coupeville's fine
restaurants, featuring fresh seafood and local cuisine.
