Enjoy spectacular Sunrises, on a private Sandy Beach with Ocean Breeze and a private heated pool with hot tub. Dock for small boat and fishing.

First level offers one bedroom with king size bed, with ocean views. First level also has a spacious sheltered outdoor lounging area, full bath and laundry room. This bedroom has a private outside entrance, only.

Upstairs offers 3 bedrooms, two baths and a kitchen that overlooks the beach, pool, palm trees and open ocean waters with breathtaking scenery.

San Roc is what we call Old Keys. Simple, laid back and private.

What a shame ...

Thank you for crediting back our deposit. We very much enjoyed our time at Turtle Nest and are already talking about booking TWO weeks for next summer! The property and amenities exceeded our expectations in many ways, and we were able to relax and come away with a great many fond memories. That being said, there were just a few small pieces of feedback that we feel you may want to know about, so here they are:

*We had been looking forward to accessing the ocean directly from the beach, but as you know, that isn't really possible due to the large amount of seaweed that accumulates at the shoreline. It's hard to let small children play in that, so we couldn't let them in the water, which was pretty disappointing. I think that this should be more clearly stated in the description of the house on your websites, so that potential renters are aware beforehand. Also, quite a bit of trash washes up on the shoreline, especially on the north side in the corner. Maybe it would be good to have the landscapers remove that garbage as part of their regular duties.

*The air conditioning was problematic for guests in the two center rooms (the ones with twin beds). It was extremely warm overnight, despite the thermostats being placed low (70 degrees). There was a similar, yet less extreme, issue with the a/c in the master suite. It was warmer than expected overnight, although it didn't get as hot as it did on the other side of the house.

*We utilized several of the bicycles in the garage, which was great, but we had to go out and buy a helmet for our son. Since there are so many child bicycles for use, perhaps you/the owners should consider supplying helmets for little ones.

Aside from these issues, we had a fabulous time. I will be in contact again soon to book for next year. How far in advance can this be done?

I had sent your email to the property owner, from the last time your stayed at Turtle Nest.

It listed the issues you were not happy with.

The property owner had expressed, he does not feel comfortable renting to you in the future.

Your name came up as an alert on my rental program, detailing his wishes, when I entered your name for paperwork.

When I told you the open dates a couple of weeks ago, I had not seen the alert.

Again, I am sorry, but it is the property owners decision.

Owner's Response: I was being very kind in my response to this tenants email. I didn't feel it necessary to go into details. The owners wishes are always followed. This is a beautiful home.

Everything we could have wanted and more!!

We have teenagers and young children and this house was just perfect for us! The bikes were a special treat, only a 2 mile cycle to Robbie's Marina in one direction and 2 miles the other way to Anne's beach. Bikes for the whole family. The cinema was fantastic in the evenings, enough 'lazy boy' recliners for all of us and so many films to choose from.

The kids swam in the pool everyday whilst my husband and I sunbathed with the most spectacular view of the ocean! It was a very special holiday and we would love to go again.

The lady who looks after the house was wonderful too. Can't thank her enough. 5 Stars!

Wonderful stay!

This home is beautiful - well kept, great layout and amenities, perfect for a group! There were 4 adults and 5 kids (ages 2.5 - 7) in ours. Spacious, plenty of room for everyone. The kids loved the theater room and the loft with the changeable game table. The beach is typical for the Keys - grassy, seaweedy, no ocean waves. The water is clear and shallow, the ground is a little murky just getting in the water, so water shoes a good idea. It's well stocked with dishes, glasses, and plenty of beach towels, something we haven't always found in other vacation rentals. We had a great time and would highly recommend!
