Comfortable home away from home.

  • 5 of 5

Charlie and Bill have created an inviting, comfortable place to relax in at the end of a busy day. Great kitchen with everything you need to cook ( plus some local cookbooks),another room perfect for reading a book or watching a little tv. Beds were comfortable too. Nice yard we wished we could have enjoyed ( with a nice glass of wine). It was a 15 minute drive to the Beacon hill area of Boston. Parking was readily available at this great place. Would definitely stay here again. The delightful lemon cake was a nice surprise!

Very comfy and cozy!! Charlie and Bill were very helpful and so nice,

  • 5 of 5

We stayed 5 nights, our daughter was running the Boston Marathon. Our place was clean and comfy for the 4 of us. Both rooms had queen size comfy beds. Charlie even picked us up at the airport when we arrived. Bill made his famous Lemon Bread that was so delicious. They even took us to the transit center or rides if needed. We were gone all days but was nice to come home to, and wake up to great coffee. Thank you Charlie and Bill for making our stay and first trip to Boston most memorable. We enjoyed talking to you and your hospitality. The Marathon was a great experience and we loved Boston. Thanks, Sabrina, Jeff, Megan and Kyle

Boston Fall and history vacation

  • 5 of 5

The pictures do not do the Hopper guest house justice. It's a very nice place with two bedrooms on either side. The yard is meticulous taken care of by Bill with wonderful flowers and shrubs. Charlie picked us up at the airport and dropped us off at the train several times so we could travel through out Boston. Charlie and Bill were very gracious hosts and made our first trip to Boston a very memorable one. We will definitely look at staying here again on our next visit to Boston.

Fantastic!

  • 5 of 5

My sister and I stayed here for a few nights while we explored Boston. The "T" stop is only about a mile away, and you can park your car all day in the lot for only $5. It's convenient to the "wicked" awesome city of Boston, and the airport is very close as well.

The apartment was immaculate and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped, and we had everything we needed for a comfortable, quiet, and relaxing stay. We appreciated the fact that we could park our car in the driveway, and avoid street parking.

Charlie supplied us with amazing coffee, teas, cooking spices, and even a few goodies in the pantry. Not only was this host a great communicator, but he was also a barrel of laughs.

We had a great time, and would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay close to Boston and walking distance to rail

  • 5 of 5

The place is very clean, situated in a quiet area and nicely decorated. The beds are comfortable, kitchen is very well stocked with dishes/pots/pans/utensils.... and everything you need if you chose to cook or eat inside. The owners are super nice and helpful, they even offered to pick us up from the airport. We used rail and uber to get around. The rail station is a short walk, about 15-20 minutes walking. Its a great way to go to Boston or in the other direction like Salem.

We will definitely stay there again.

Wonderful Hospitality!

  • 5 of 5

We were so pleased with the Guest House at Hooper! It is a nicely decorated apartment, spacious, very clean with comfortable beds and suited the needs of two couples perfectly. Charlie greeted us warmly even though we were arriving very late due to a delayed flight from California. The off the street parking was a real bonus. Bill's delicious lemon cake was a wonderful surprise Sunday evening when we returned after a busy day. Thanks for the recipe! We enjoyed the Guest House so much that we extended our stay to a fifth day. Both Charlie and Bill have the gift of hospitality.
