Charming studio-apt just off Times Square and Broadway shows (less than 5 minutes walk).
Super quiet and cute, overlooking a beautiful backyard! Great central location, nice quiet street.
This apartment is both comfortable and convenient, with a queen size bed.
The fully equipped kitchen has a microwave, coffee-maker, toaster, and fridge. Heating and air conditioning are provided, with bed linens and bathroom towels.
Free high speed wifi internet, and TV !
The bathroom is beautifully laid out with a tiled shower and a window.
This peaceful 3rd floor walk-up apartment is on the top floor of the building (no neighbors upstairs!) and overlooks a scenic backyard with a table and benches for entertaining outside. A bounty of plants and flowers makes this garden a true haven of tranquility. And what is more, the yard is reserved for the private use of the building's tenants (6 apartments only).
The Clinton/Hell’s kitchen area (just off Times Square) combines the great atmosphere of the Theater district with the liveliness of a buzzing neighborhood often compared to the West Village. Indeed, the charming buildings around 46th Street and 9th Avenue will fill you with a unique Village feeling. Numerous restaurants, bars/lounges, grocery stores, coffee shops and other trendy boutiques surround this distinctive tree-lined block. The immediate area also features a great outdoor playground with a basketball court.
You can easily travel throughout Manhattan with the all subway lines just a couple of blocks away. The whole of New York is right on your doorstep!
Also other apts available in the same building...
Great location, right in the middle of things but surprisingly quiet and safe. The apartment is a small studio, but very comfy. Communication with management was terrific and Michel the concierge was very helpful. Grocery stores, laundromat and excellent bakery (Amy's Bread) all nearby. Times Square is a short walk away. The studio is in a small complex of 4 and is a two flight walk up (no elevator) and the stairs are narrow so just bear that in mind with luggage. My only gripe was that the radiator could be loud at times during the night and could be a bit inconsistent with temperature. But this is a minor thing. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend this apartment.
This was my first time using Home Away and I was a bit nervous because I didn't know what to expect but everything was perfect. Michael was so kind and showed us around the apartment after he let us in and handed us our key. This property was also so close to time square, central park, the rockerfella center and subway. My husband and I were able to walk to so many places.
I highly recommend staying at this property if you are planning a trip to New York!
We really enjoyed our stay. Michel was very helpful. I will recommend to friends and family!
Be aware if you have suitcases...there is no lift. The place is at the top of a narrow winding staircase. It is not close to a subway station unless you think a 10 minutes walk is 'close'.
The apartment is tired. It needs updating and money spent on repairs. Things such as decent pillows, blankets and towels would make a difference and should be standard. Disgusting grey towels that used to be white and flat, old pillows are not acceptable when you are paying the sort of money being asked.
We won't be returning or recommending this apartment.
This apartment was perfect for my husband and myself! This was our very first trip to NYC and the location of this place was excellent! The place was clean and the bed was comfy. Only 2 blocks from Times Square and walking distance to a lot of other things as well. There was a little store around the corner that was perfect for us to pick up a few groceries to keep on hand. The building manager, Michel, was super! He was so kind and very helpful and always around if needed. We would definitely stay here again!
We stayed three nights in an upstairs studio. It's small of course but perfectly fine for a brief visit. It took us a night to adjust to the radiator knocking but otherwise there was no noise issu. The location can't be beat. Michel, the manager, is helpful. He gave us excellent restaurant suggestions and was available to share tips and ideas.
