Overview

About the property

House, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, 8 Sleeps

This home can accommodate 6-8 people in the main house. Tent(s) and/or camper may also be used (with an additional fee). Located on the Boardman River, this home comes with 3 canoes, 6 kayaks and many, many rafts to use. The home is nestled in a quiet, private setting yet only 20 minutes to the hustle and bustle of downtown Traverse City.

Have fun and enjoy the house, as it's become a favorite vacation spot for many. This property is fantastic for entertaining outdoors on the cocktail deck that extends over the river, large fire pit right by the rivers edge, large yard for games, plenty of seating around the river and main deck, gas grill for cooking, as well as a tiki bar, ping pong table and extra refrigerator in the garage to use.

What more could you hope for....

great little cabin

  • 4 of 5

There could not be a more picturesque location for a cabin than this one. In the woods and right next to beautiful little river. It feels like you are miles away from civilization, although you aren't. There are houses on either side but they are far enough away that they are barely visible. Great screened porch and deck and a second deck over the flowing water of the stream. The cabin is cozy inside with a wonderful fireplace and big windows looking out on the stream. The kitchen is the perfect size and reasonably well equipped. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the beds. The mattress in the master bedroom was so bouncy that the slightest movement by one person caused the other person to wake up. My husband ended up sleeping in one of the bunks. I was told that the other double bed was no better.
