SECLUDED & QUIET

  • 5 of 5

This was an awesome place to unwind and decompress. I wasn't sure what to expect but when I arrived and walked up the stairs I was in awe of the surroundings. Redwood trees everywhere and it was super quiet. The house has everything you need and was just as described. I was especially impressed that the windows that opened had screens with no holes! We spent most of our time outside on the deck. There was a ton of mosquitoes so I would suggest you bring repellent. Janea was a great non-intrusive hostess. I would definitely recommend this property to family and friends.

Really nice, quiet getaway

  • 4 of 5

We only stayed for one quick night, but enjoyed all the personal touches and character of this place. It was clean and comfy. If we didn't have 2 toddlers with us, we could have enjoyed the peace and quiet. I could definitely see this as a ladies getaway or couples retreat. Parking is a little tough and the cabin is super remote.

Amazing comfortable and perfect!

  • 5 of 5

What a great escape to Tranquility Base! Things could not have been more perfect. We wanted for nothing. Beautiful environment, quiet, peaceful and the neighbors are so friendly. We can't wait to go back. The house was perfect and comfy, the decks were amazing and where we spent most of our time when we weren't out enjoying the many trials so close. The rive across the road was magical and the sound just added to the experience.

Magical

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was such a delightful find. Very comfortable- I slept so well. The kitchen was fully stocked- she even had coffee beans there for us to grind. While in the kitchen, looking out the window, it felt like you we in a tree house. There are a lot of steps to go up from where you park your car so wear comfy shoes. As you are going up the steps you are completely surrounded by trees. My favorite part of this home was the deck. Plenty of seats, a fire pit, a soaker tub, little lights that come on automatically at night. It was so peaceful and welcoming. Thank you Janea! I hope to have a chance to come back.

Nice little getaway!!

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our time at Tranquility Base. Janae was a very gracious hostess and provided everything one would need/want to be comfortable. Spent some great family time together and enjoyed the barbecue. As stated, the cabin is elevated and there are roughly 30 or so steps to get to the front door. A little rough when carrying luggage or groceries but hey, you only need to do that a couple of times right? Overall, this was a very relaxing and easy experience and would definitely recommend to small groups. Thank you Janae.
