House, 4 Bedrooms, 2.5 Baths, Sleeps 8
Karl & Erika Hoehne
Why Karl & Erika Hoehne chose Seneca
We have always been drawn to the water and used to camp frequently on the lake. We would load up our boat, tent and dog and spend the weekends decompressing from stressful jobs in Asheville. When our first child was born, we realized very quickly that tent camping was not as enjoyable anymore and decided it was time to set some more permanent roots. This house was begging for us to reinvent it. So, up for the challenge, we bought this diamond in the rough. We lovingly took it apart and over the first few years spent our weekends putting it back together. It is the perfect blend of cozy rooms, open views and comforts of home.
What makes this House unique
This cozy little cottage has everything you need. It has enough space but not too much that you feel "disconnected" from your family. Deep waters and little boat traffic make it the perfect place to spend the day in the water swimming, floating or having jumping contests off the dock. If you start to feel a little water logged, enjoy an afternoon nap on the hammock under the canopy of the trees or challenge the kids to a friendly competitive game of horseshoes. Taking an outside shower after a day in the sun is the perfect way to wrap up a long day on the lake.

Beautiful lake with relaxing atmosphere
We were very pleased with our Keowee Lake stay. Very comfortable home with everything to make stay enjoyable. Lake is crystal clear and beautiful. Great family vacation.
The lake house was perfect for 8 adults. 3 queen beds, 2 twins and a king in the loft. The online pics are deceiving as this house has plenty of space for a large family. Beds were super comfy. AC was cold and house had a lot of personality and charm. We were within a mile of the grocery store and liquor store 😊 Tiki hut and marina close and a short boat ride to the falls and local swimming/rafting holes. Large deck with lots of chairs and perfect views of the lake. Owners were easily accessible when needed. Overall perfect weekend and place to stay. Will definitely be back.
Worked Great For Us!
Short walk to the water with a gradual slope. All you could ask for at a reasonable price! Plan to rent again next year!
Great Quite place to stay
This property is wonderful it's at the end of the road the cove is amazingly quite. The home was very clean and organized the owner's were very nice to work with on getting things ready for our arrival. We enjoyed our stay very much.
every thing and more
my first reaction upon arriving at dusk was "this will never do" but to my amazement and delight the cabin worked wonderfully, the four bedrooms were well sized so everyone had a space to get away to, the kitchen was the most challenging space wise but it had everything i needed, in fact that was one of the best parts of the cabin, what i was needing i always found in one closet or another; the canoe and paddle boat were used daily, the gated deck was perfect especially when the dog was with us; i would happily return the same time next year
Fabulous lake house
Cozy lake house with lots of space, great views of the lake from the large deck, relaxing dock with room for many chairs so that you can be right at the water's edge.
