Perfect for Families

  • 5 of 5

Every summer we look for a home/cottage to rent somewhere in the US or Canada. Holly Berry is, by far, the most comfortable home we have rented for our family. The cottage is located just right off the main drag in Townsend. Although a more remote location in the woods may have been nice, for a family this central location gave us easier access to everything there was to do in town: bike trail, tubing, driving into the national park. Also convenient to grocery stores the visitors center etc. The house itself is emaculate and has many appreciated conveniences. Also, many of the other cottages just were either too big or too small. You could easily bring an inflatable mattress and put another set of folks in the tv room if you needed to. Donna and her mom Helen provide detergent, fabric softener, umbrella, towels (both bath and beach). There is a nice supply of games and dvd's. The outdoor grill is in great shape and has all of the tools for cooking. Having 2 bathrooms and 2 sitting rooms was great too. The bedrooms and kitchen are all very clean and well appointed. First day when you arrive you will find biscuits, muffins, oj, butter and soda in the fridge. We used the kitchen and it had everything we needed. The kids loved going down to the river but be careful, there is a poison ivy vine growing on some of the trees down there.
