About juniperchalet@cox.net

Geoff and Michele and their 3 boys love visiting the town of Flagstaff and really enjoy skiing and snowboarding at Snowbowl. Both are NAU alumni and were thrilled at the opportunity to have a 2nd home in the charming vacation town of Munds Park, just outside of Flagstaff. Geoff owns an American Family Insurance Agency in Tempe and Michele is an Interior Designer . Their perfect get away was found with the Juniper Chalet, an adorable 1970s mid-century modern/rustic A-frame cabin with wood ceilings , a stone fireplace, amazing views from the large windows, an expansive deck and all located on a lot that backs to the forest.. We hope you will enjoy this charming cabin and all its amenities as much as our family does!

Nice and cozy. Very relaxing.

  • 5 of 5

My boyfriend and I celebrated our 8 year anniversary at the Juniperchalet and we enjoyed every moment. The cabin was nice and cozy and the weather was amazing. It was the perfect way to celebrate our anniversary. Boyfriend and I enjoyed hikes, swimming, and visiting national monuments not far from the cabin. We enjoyed breakfast on the deck and dinner underneath the stars. We definitely want to do this again some time. Whether we were staying in doors relaxing or just coming back from a hike, the cabin was always perfectly peaceful and quiet.

Weekend Retreat

  • 5 of 5

What a nice place! We went up for the weekend just to get away. We had four in our group, but there was plenty of room for additional guests. The place was clean and the owners are very friendly. I would highly recommend you stay here!

Great for romance or fmaily

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I went up to celebrate his birthday and had a great time. The chalet was perfect! Large enough for a family retreat but cozy enough for a romantic weekend away. All the amenities of home including spices we forgot - thanks! The set up is good for a family or a couple of families with kids. Plenty of board games, movies, video games. The back yard leads right to a trail through the national forest. The large windows in the living room with the comfy couch and wrap around deck are both offer great views and relaxation. We enjoyed star gazing, sleeping with the windows open, and the quiet. We would highly recommend a stay here in any season as the larger fireplace is sure to warm you up in the winter. Already planning our next visit!

Great winter get away

  • 5 of 5

My mother and I decided to escape the valley and enjoy a few days in the snow. We rented this wonderful cabin and had the best time. The cabin was in perfect order when we arrived. The driveway was plowed, firewood stacked near the fireplace, and the cabin warm and cozy when we arrived. The two feet of snow outside was a bonus and could not have been more perfect!
