Incredible time!

  • 5 of 5

The place was perfect and very well kept. We were in walking distance of restaurants and the beach. It was just a short drive to downtown Savannah. We loved it and would go back in a heart beat!

80s style small condo. Good for our family

  • 4 of 5

The place we stayed in was fine. AC worked well, showers worked well. All things in working order. We paid almost $600 per night for three nights which is truly my only reason for reducing by a star. After speaking with several people staying in the same oceanfront condo, we realized that we overpaid by about 35%...not terrible, but certainly alot more than we should have paid. I realize that there is a markup going thru VRBO, but I don't think the upcharge is 35%. Otherwise, the place, although slightly dated, met all of our needs as a family of 3. We had originally booked the place for 6, but realized that there was only 1ensuite bathroom, and one off the hall, and let our friends know before they arrived. The location was very good, but did get a majority of the daytime beach traffic compared to other locations along the beach. All in all, a good place to stay, just not $600 a night good. Having said that, it is oceanfront on Tybee. The place we stayed in last year was a gorgeous cape cod style house that was oceanfront with 3 beds and 3 baths, and was less expensive for 2 more nights!...and was already booked.

Wonderful view !

  • 4 of 5

What an incredible view ! While there were a few negatives, I will go back to that "wonderful view" again and again. The condo showed the problems caused by several bad storms. The porch railings needed painting and so did the porch furniture, but who cares when you can look at that view ! Getting out to the beach was a bit problematic for an older woman, like me, and her 6 yr. old grandson. But, my daughter found ways ! The resort next door had a lot of damage and the pools there are very small. But the restaurant was good, and had a great view. My biggest concern in the condo was the "waviness" of the floor. I was standing in the front bedroom and dropped a bag. Four items went four different ways ! I had thought that it was just me that made walking a bit difficult. However, I really think that the owners of the building/condos should get an engineer in to check out the support system of the building. The condo was smaller than I expected, but the view more than made up for that. It would be comfortable for up to 6-7 people. The front bedroom has a direct view of the ocean ! But neither the shower in there or the tub/shower combo in the 2nd bath had anything for older or disabled people to hold on to-----after one scary try with each, I just gave up and was a little less than clean ! You could see the water while on the toilet in the front bathroom if you wanted to, but there was only one sink. The kitchen was adequate, but it would have been nice to have a refrig that dispensed crushed ice since there was no blender. But you could see the ocean while cooking ! The beds and couches were comfortable and there were plenty of towels. If not for the view, the unit was very over-priced for what you got, but the view was incredible ! Thank you, Leslie.

We had a wonderful time at this condo. It was really nice to be just a few steps from the beach. I was concerned that the water view from the first floor might be blocked, but it was just as gorgeous as some of the high rises we have stayed at. Everything we needed for cooking was provided. We will definitely consider this condo for another trip to Tybee!

Nice condo!

  • 5 of 5

We loved the condo. It's very nice! There was a cart, sand toys, boogie boards, and chairs! Nice touch for sure. We did notice there wasn't a blender (just if I had to note something missing).....but we didn't look for ANYTHING else that we didn't find! Great location! We had tons of fun!

Beauitful location

  • 4 of 5

The condo was nicely furnished. The only complaint we had was the the advertising stated there was a pool avaliable which is incorrect... it was at the building next door which is in remodel after the hurricane a year ago. The description needs updated to let families of young children aware. Overall it was a good experience
