We have fallen in love with our beautiful garden island of Kauai. Come “Live Aloha” on our Kauai Island—and pass it on!
Kathleen purchased this Condo in 2007
Why Kathleen chose Kapaa
This condo is a fully-stocked vacation retreat for families with or without young children. It is also ideal for two couples traveling together. You can save hundreds of dollars by preparing one or more meals in your gourmet kitchen and making lunches for daily outings.
What makes this Condo unique
The kitchen is top-of-the-line stainless steel with granite countertops, a Sub-Zero refrigerator with ice-maker, a Wolf cook-top and convection oven, a new dishwasher and a General Electric microwave oven. There is also a complete set of minor appliances such as a coffee-maker, rice-maker, toaster, and blender as well as complete sets of cookware, dishes and tableware. We have also included 'extras' such as a roasting pan and electric carving knife for your holiday or other special-occasion feasts. If you want to try your hand at Island food, we have included a large collection of Hawaiian cookbooks. We have provided the fun goodies to allow you to travel to Kauai and pack minimally. If it is snorkeling gear, boogie boards, ice chest, beach towels, or sand toys you need, they are available for your enjoyment. We have also supplied a Kauai book selection, a 'take-one-leave-one' library, popular board games, and a complete set of movies filmed on Kauai. You will enjoy trying to identify where the scenes were filmed.
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date. 50% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
Condo was awesome. We didn't cook or eat there but if we had, they had everything you needed. I would recommend this Condo for anyone wanting to stay on the island of Kuaui.
Fully featured apartment in Kauai
Great place in an excellent resort. Lots of nearby amenities. We used the snorkel gear and beach stuff. Top notch.
A family of 6 2 teens and 4 adults
Nice location beautiful property. The second shower would not drain so we had to all use the master the water would run over if we used it. WiFi was not very reliable but the biggest disappointment was the smaller bedroom the mattress needs to be replaced worn out so slept in chair. It was a nice place but needs some fixing
July Family Vacation
We really enjoyed our stay in this 4th floor condo. The directions of how to get to the condo within the complex that were sent to us prior to arrival were very easily understood. The condo was well equipped with kitchen gadgets and linens. We cooked several meals in the condo, which both saved money and afforded us time to relax and share time together as a family. The location in Kapa'a was excellent, with the Safeway, Starbucks and McDonald's being right across the street. Being centrally located on the east side also made getting to places north and south pretty easy. There was a lot of snorkel equipment and a beach umbrella, which came in very handy for us.
Our favorite part of the condo was actually the pool area. The slides were lots of fun....for those of us from 7-70 years of age!! There were always plenty of places to sit and the area was well tended. The atmosphere was very Family Friendly, which was great for us.....no late night parties, etc. to disturb our stay. We ate at the Oasis for lunch on our last day. We were not disappointed.
The reason that I rated the Accuracy of Listing as only 4 stars is because the implication from the listing is that you will have a view of the ocean. There is actually a gorgeous picture of the entire pool area and the ocean taken at night on the listing. That view is NOT the view from this condo. The listing specifically states that you can lie in the bed in the queen bedded room and see the ocean. That statement is not accurate, as you have to stand up and lean over to see a very small sliver of ocean view between two of the buildings on the other side of the pool. The view of the pool area from the queen room is very lovely. However, from the lanai of the king bedded room, you are pretty much looking at exterior walls and/or lanais of other condos.
All in all, our experience at Waipouli Beach Resort was very good.
Great place for our family of five. Would highly recommend.
We enjoyed a great stay . Kathleen was very helpful with ideas and suggestions. We had all the amenities we needed to cook, relax and have fun. A good mid-way location to visit both the North and South shore. Grocery store across the street was a big plus. Kids loved the pool. Husband appreciated the AC. I can’t wait to return to Kauai.

Perhaps it's the natural beauty of Kauai that brings out the best in people or maybe it's the island tradition of gracious hospitality. Whatever the reason, you'll find that the people of Kauai offer a welcoming 'spirit of aloha' that makes you feel right at home. We have fallen in love with the beauty of Kauai and it's people:
Kauai is known as the 'Garden Island' due to its lush landscape and the natural beauty of its waterfalls, quiet lagoons and pristine beaches. Its rivers and streams nourish an abundance of trees, flowering plants and exotic birds, some of which cannot be found anywhere else. Scenic wonders include Waimea Canyon, Hanalei Valley, Kilauea Lighthouse and wildlife refuge, Fern Grotto, many stunning beaches and, for the courageous, Kalalau Valley.
You've probably seen more of Kauai than you realize, and a drive from our condo toward the north shore might seem suddenly familar to you as you pass the scene where stampeding dinosaurs nearly stomped the humans in 'Jurassic Park'.
Much of the island is untouched by human development, and you can explore it by foot, boat, plane or helicopter. The Waimea Canyon, 'the grand canyon of the pacific', the rocky NaPali Coast, and the beautiful Hanalei Valley offer breathtaking vistas. Wherever you go in Kauai, the lush beauty of the island is with you. Perhaps you'll take advantage of some of the world's finest beaches, golf courses and restaurants. Or you might go surfing, snorkeling, hiking, bicycling, kayaking, or driving among kauai's natural splendors. Possibilities for exploring the outdoor treasures on Kauai are unlimited. We keep a list of things we want to do and it keeps getting longer even though we try to do some of them whenever we can.
Or-- you might kick back and let your stress melt away in the warm sun and gentle trade winds of Kauai. Our guests sometimes have difficulty realizing they don't have to do anything! Catamaran cruises, world-class golf courses, surf, snorkeling, hiking, hula shows, luaus, and sight-seeing, can use up your day. With weather that is moderate year around, average temperatures range from 70 to 81 degrees F and it's OK to lie on the beach or sit on one of your lanais and watch the surf. Also, while you can't use this as an excuse every time you want to come, Kauai is a popular place to get married as well as to honeymoon.
Our convenient location on Kauai's Eastside :
Appropriately dubbed the 'Coconut Coast,' Kauai's East Side is a mystical region filled with history and culture. Wailua, a short distance to the south, is a sacred and significant place for the ancient Hawaiian 'ali'i' (royalty). Take advantage of all its offerings: the Wailua River State Park, Fern Grotto, Wailua Falls, and other gems. Opaekaa Falls is an unforgettable photo op. A historic restored Hawaiian village lies on the riverbanks.
Be sure to find time for a leisurely stroll through Kapaa Town and its funky and fine shopping, including some great Hawaiian crafts, aloha-print shirts, jewelry and fine art objects.
Wherever you go, you'll quickly fall in love with our beautiful garden island of Kauai.
Come 'Live Aloha' on our Kauai Island-and pass it on!
