A Day At Your Condo:
You might start your day with a golden sunrise, a cup of Hawaii-grown coffee and a candy-sweet papaya from the local farmers’ market or perhaps with a barefoot walk on the golden sands of Waipouli Beach. A passerby says, 'Aloha.' A lone fisherman casts his line. A kayaker heads out to sea. And, as the salt air clears your mind, you realize…it feels different here…..
Surround yourself in the warm trade winds as you watch the shimmering waters of the Pacific and your children frolic in the 2-acre lazy-river pool as it winds through a lush tropical landscape complete with waterfalls, two water slides, a sand-bottom pool for young children, a 'secret' grotto, and three whirlpool spas. Enjoy a refreshing drink and a snack at the Tahitian Lanai beachfront bar and grill. Treat yourself to a relaxing spa treatment at the on-site full-service AVEDA spa. Dine on the lanai as the sun sets with its nightly display of color. Lounge in the Living room as you enjoy a full spectrum of entertainment with the large flat screen television, DVD, Stereo & CD player. Relax with a movie that was filmed on Kauai and try to identify where the scenes were filmed. Retreat to one of the tropical theme Master Bedroom Suites and enjoy a book from the condo library and the soothing sounds of the waves. Prepare a picnic lunch or a gourmet meal in a kitchen fit for a chef. Your condo is a place you will enjoy, remember, and look forward to visiting again.
Activities abound. Kayaking, boogie boarding, surfing, snorkeling, scuba diving, body boarding, kite surfing, the list goes on. You will find snorkel and beach gear in your condo. Hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding are just a few of the possible day's diversions. For the more adventurous, there's also hang gliding, deep-sea fishing, water-skiing and helicopter rides. All activities come with free-of-charge, breath-stealing, natural beauty. Also, while you can’t use this as an excuse every time you want to come, Kauai is a popular place to get married as well as to honeymoon.
Everything you need is within strolling distance. Coconut Marketplace is a treasure-filled wonderland. Kauai Village is right across the road. Wander around either one and you'll find boutiques, fine dining spots, hole-in-the-wall eateries, jewelry stores, art galleries, healing and wellness centers, grocery stores, and a pharmacy. You'll spot everything from fresh leis to fresh vegetables, aloha shirts to hibiscus soaps, and hand-carved koa bowls to handmade quilts.
Or--You might kick back and let your stress melt away in the warm sun and gentle trade winds of Kauai. Our guests sometimes have difficulty realizing they don’t have to do anything! Catamaran cruises, world-class golf courses, surfing, snorkeling, hiking, hula shows, luaus, and sight-seeing can easily use up your day. It’s OK to lie for hours on the beach or by the pool, or sit on one of your lanais and watch the surf.
You'll find that the people of Kauai offer a welcoming spirit of aloha that makes you feel right at home. You will fall in love with the beauty of Kauai and its people.

Kathleen purchased this condo in 2007
This condo is a fully-stocked vacation retreat for families with or without young children. It is also ideal for two couples traveling together. You can save hundreds of dollars by preparing one or more meals in your gourmet kitchen and making lunches for daily outings.
The kitchen is top-of-the-line stainless steel with granite countertops, a Sub-Zero refrigerator with ice-maker, a Wolf cook-top and convection oven, a new dishwasher and a General Electric microwave oven. There is also a complete set of minor appliances such as a coffee-maker, rice-maker, toaster, and blender as well as complete sets of cookware, dishes and tableware. We have also included 'extras' such as a roasting pan and electric carving knife for your holiday or other special-occasion feasts. If you want to try your hand at Island food, we have included a large collection of Hawaiian cookbooks.
We have provided the fun goodies to allow you to travel to Kauai and pack minimally. If it is snorkeling gear, boogie boards, ice chest, beach towels, or sand toys you need, they are available for your enjoyment. We have also supplied a Kauai book selection, a 'take-one-leave-one' library, popular board games, and a complete set of movies filmed on Kauai. You will enjoy trying to identify where the scenes were filmed.
My husband and I stayed here with his son and fiancé, and enjoyed every minute. The property was perfect for two couples, with separate master bedroom suites. The condo had everything we needed to feel like home-great kitchen, living area and lovely bedrooms and baths. We enjoyed eating breakfasts on the terrace, enjoyed the pool, beach, bar and spa at the resort, and were so well located to get anywhere on the island. We couldn't have been happier. The place was immaculate, and it was a great value. The condo had all kinds of books/videos/dvd's/beach gear, beach towels, chairs, coolers, etc. etc. etc. We couldn't think of anything we needed that was missing. There is no service in the rental to speak of
Wow what a wonderful spot! We had our toddler with us and couldn't have been happier! The apartment and entire resort were so clean. The family friendly environment was wonderful. We are usually off exploring but we didn't want to leave the resort as we were all having the best time!
We loved our condo and the grounds. We were disappointed with beach by the condo as you couldn't walk very far and was not very nice to hang out on. The only real complaint at the condo is that the luggage cart was never available when needed and security/staff were not able to help, just saying people don't bring them back and they sit in hallways. We had to carry all our groceries and luggage for two weeks up to the forth floor, and there was no elevator in our part of the building. When we checked out we went looking for the cart and found two of them in a corner on the 2nd floor of another building. The only other small thing is that we were told we could use the pool area all day until we had leave for our flight which we did but the code was changed on the gate so we had trouble getting in and out, it would be nice if they left the code unchanged until the end of the day for people in our position. We very much enjoyed the condo and the pool area.
Great location. Probably best condos/resort in this area.
We loved our time at your rental property. It was a perfect location for us and having all the amenities of this condo and the resort was such a bonus for us. The only suggestion we have for you to add is a pizza cutter! LOL! Otherwise we found the all the extras stored in the closet to be so enjoyable as we traveled around the island & exploring several beaches during our days. I think our favorite beach was Anui Beach up North to be the best swimming/walking/snorkeling beach for us. Beautiful & quieter island to visit! Thank you for sharing your home with us!
We had a wonderful time at this beautiful condo. Great location. Plenty of things to do. I would stay here again for sure. Mahalo
Thank you Kathleen and James! We had a wonderful time on your island during our December 23, 2017-January 1, 2018 holiday with our grown children and family of five. We highly recommend your beautiful place and would love to return. Thank you for sharing it with us.
We were extremely pleased with our communications with Kathleen and James prior to the trip. They were helpful and very kind in meeting our request for unscented sheets and towels, which we so appreciated. All of the information for accessing the property was accurate and easy to understand. I might also add that our damage deposit was promptly returned.
The condo and the property are beautiful with great amenities. The property is lush with greenery and has several hot tubs as well as a lazy river with slides, and the property itself is on the ocean. The grounds are immaculately maintained. It is conveniently located not only to the airport, but makes day trips to all other parts of the island very easy. The condo has everything that was advertised (and more) and the kitchen is large with nice appliances. IThe washer dryer is also large and we really utilized that convenience. We had no need for the air conditioning as the breezes were so nice, but it is available. The Safeway and Foodland are literally right across form the property. My daughter was very happy with the poke selection at the Foodland. We made two trips to Costco, which I would recommend if you have a large party, as food and adult beverages on the island can be pricey. Get the Safeway card too (free) or you will pay a lot more for groceries there. We were able to rent bikes on the property for a lovely ride along the coast and stopped to have shave ice with ice cream from one of the food trucks along the way (yummy). The concierge at the property was helpful in giving us direction and making recommendations. Be sure to carry cash as many small venues do not take credit or the machine may not work. Great canoeing and kayaking very close to Fern Grotto and the Secret Falls and it is just a short car trip away.
We got up early, had great adventures, and were always happy to return to our homeaway from home. We watched movies every night that had been filmed on the island (provided in the condo) and there are a large number of books on loan with information on the island, and books for pleasure reading as well. Could not have had a more memorable time!

Perhaps it's the natural beauty of Kauai that brings out the best in people or maybe it's the island tradition of gracious hospitality. Whatever the reason, you'll find that the people of Kauai offer a welcoming 'spirit of aloha' that makes you feel right at home. We have fallen in love with the beauty of Kauai and it's people:
Kauai is known as the 'Garden Island' due to its lush landscape and the natural beauty of its waterfalls, quiet lagoons and pristine beaches. Its rivers and streams nourish an abundance of trees, flowering plants and exotic birds, some of which cannot be found anywhere else. Scenic wonders include Waimea Canyon, Hanalei Valley, Kilauea Lighthouse and wildlife refuge, Fern Grotto, many stunning beaches and, for the courageous, Kalalau Valley.
You've probably seen more of Kauai than you realize, and a drive from our condo toward the north shore might seem suddenly familar to you as you pass the scene where stampeding dinosaurs nearly stomped the humans in 'Jurassic Park'.
Much of the island is untouched by human development, and you can explore it by foot, boat, plane or helicopter. The Waimea Canyon, 'the grand canyon of the pacific', the rocky NaPali Coast, and the beautiful Hanalei Valley offer breathtaking vistas. Wherever you go in Kauai, the lush beauty of the island is with you. Perhaps you'll take advantage of some of the world's finest beaches, golf courses and restaurants. Or you might go surfing, snorkeling, hiking, bicycling, kayaking, or driving among kauai's natural splendors. Possibilities for exploring the outdoor treasures on Kauai are unlimited. We keep a list of things we want to do and it keeps getting longer even though we try to do some of them whenever we can.
Or-- you might kick back and let your stress melt away in the warm sun and gentle trade winds of Kauai. Our guests sometimes have difficulty realizing they don't have to do anything! Catamaran cruises, world-class golf courses, surf, snorkeling, hiking, hula shows, luaus, and sight-seeing, can use up your day. With weather that is moderate year around, average temperatures range from 70 to 81 degrees F and it's OK to lie on the beach or sit on one of your lanais and watch the surf. Also, while you can't use this as an excuse every time you want to come, Kauai is a popular place to get married as well as to honeymoon.
Our convenient location on Kauai's Eastside :
Appropriately dubbed the 'Coconut Coast,' Kauai's East Side is a mystical region filled with history and culture. Wailua, a short distance to the south, is a sacred and significant place for the ancient Hawaiian 'ali'i' (royalty). Take advantage of all its offerings: the Wailua River State Park, Fern Grotto, Wailua Falls, and other gems. Opaekaa Falls is an unforgettable photo op. A historic restored Hawaiian village lies on the riverbanks.
Be sure to find time for a leisurely stroll through Kapaa Town and its funky and fine shopping, including some great Hawaiian crafts, aloha-print shirts, jewelry and fine art objects.
Wherever you go, you'll quickly fall in love with our beautiful garden island of Kauai.
