We have fallen in love with our beautiful garden island of Kauai. Come “Live Aloha” on our Kauai Island—and pass it on!
Kathleen purchased this Condo in 2007
Why Kathleen chose Kapaa
This condo is a fully-stocked vacation retreat for families with or without young children. It is also ideal for two couples traveling together. You can save hundreds of dollars by preparing one or more meals in your gourmet kitchen and making lunches for daily outings.
What makes this Condo unique
The kitchen is top-of-the-line stainless steel with granite countertops, a Sub-Zero refrigerator with ice-maker, a Wolf cook-top and convection oven, a new dishwasher and a General Electric microwave oven. There is also a complete set of minor appliances such as a coffee-maker, rice-maker, toaster, and blender as well as complete sets of cookware, dishes and tableware. We have also included 'extras' such as a roasting pan and electric carving knife for your holiday or other special-occasion feasts. If you want to try your hand at Island food, we have included a large collection of Hawaiian cookbooks. We have provided the fun goodies to allow you to travel to Kauai and pack minimally. If it is snorkeling gear, boogie boards, ice chest, beach towels, or sand toys you need, they are available for your enjoyment. We have also supplied a Kauai book selection, a 'take-one-leave-one' library, popular board games, and a complete set of movies filmed on Kauai. You will enjoy trying to identify where the scenes were filmed.

Nicely appointed, clean and roomy. Truly enjoyed our stay!
This is a perfect condo layout for two couples, offering high end furnishings and appliances as well as privacy between two master suites. The grounds and pool are lovely. It is conveniently located with 2 grocery stores and several restaurants directly across the street within easy walking distance. It’s central location on the island makes travel to the north or south end convenient.
Communication with the property manager met our needs but was not as responsive as we would have liked ( took over a week for us to know that our booking was accepted and several day to obtain information about our checkin, the necessary checkin information arrived only the day before needed)
Week in Kauai
We enjoyed our week in Kauai. The location of the condo made it easy to travel to all parts of the island. We stayed with another couple and had plenty of space and everything we needed while there.
We had a great time in the condo, pool and at the beach. There was everything we needed to enjoy our trip.
Overall good stay
The check in process was a bit of a nightmare, when we used our code to get in it seems like someone was already staying in the room. Groceries were out on the counter, the beds were already slept in and towels and things on the floor as well as garbages weren't emptied. It took a while for the property management to return my call and the only place we were comfortable sleeping was the sofa. She informed me that the cleaners did not know there were going to be another occupant so the room wasn't cleaned. Though disappointed, I was relieved that someone was not going to come barging in on us wondering why we were in their room. She further assured me that we should go to the restaurant on site and that our meal would be comp, but still have not gotten that reinbursement and the meal was unsatisfying. Wouldn't recommend earing there.
Once the room was cleaned the stay was very pleasant besides the honeymooners that were on the other side. Despite the obstacles, I would still recommend this place to others. Mahalo for allowing us to stay there.
Paradise in Kapaa
This is an awesome property and the condo is very well appointed. The check-in was very smooth (excellent directions and details), the condo was very clean and it overlooks the pool area. The condo was equipped with gear to encourage a magical holiday- snorkeling gear, beach chairs, boogie board and coolers. We were thrilled that the place was exactly as described and lived up to expectations.

Perhaps it's the natural beauty of Kauai that brings out the best in people or maybe it's the island tradition of gracious hospitality. Whatever the reason, you'll find that the people of Kauai offer a welcoming 'spirit of aloha' that makes you feel right at home. We have fallen in love with the beauty of Kauai and it's people:
Kauai is known as the 'Garden Island' due to its lush landscape and the natural beauty of its waterfalls, quiet lagoons and pristine beaches. Its rivers and streams nourish an abundance of trees, flowering plants and exotic birds, some of which cannot be found anywhere else. Scenic wonders include Waimea Canyon, Hanalei Valley, Kilauea Lighthouse and wildlife refuge, Fern Grotto, many stunning beaches and, for the courageous, Kalalau Valley.
You've probably seen more of Kauai than you realize, and a drive from our condo toward the north shore might seem suddenly familar to you as you pass the scene where stampeding dinosaurs nearly stomped the humans in 'Jurassic Park'.
Much of the island is untouched by human development, and you can explore it by foot, boat, plane or helicopter. The Waimea Canyon, 'the grand canyon of the pacific', the rocky NaPali Coast, and the beautiful Hanalei Valley offer breathtaking vistas. Wherever you go in Kauai, the lush beauty of the island is with you. Perhaps you'll take advantage of some of the world's finest beaches, golf courses and restaurants. Or you might go surfing, snorkeling, hiking, bicycling, kayaking, or driving among kauai's natural splendors. Possibilities for exploring the outdoor treasures on Kauai are unlimited. We keep a list of things we want to do and it keeps getting longer even though we try to do some of them whenever we can.
Or-- you might kick back and let your stress melt away in the warm sun and gentle trade winds of Kauai. Our guests sometimes have difficulty realizing they don't have to do anything! Catamaran cruises, world-class golf courses, surf, snorkeling, hiking, hula shows, luaus, and sight-seeing, can use up your day. With weather that is moderate year around, average temperatures range from 70 to 81 degrees F and it's OK to lie on the beach or sit on one of your lanais and watch the surf. Also, while you can't use this as an excuse every time you want to come, Kauai is a popular place to get married as well as to honeymoon.
Our convenient location on Kauai's Eastside :
Appropriately dubbed the 'Coconut Coast,' Kauai's East Side is a mystical region filled with history and culture. Wailua, a short distance to the south, is a sacred and significant place for the ancient Hawaiian 'ali'i' (royalty). Take advantage of all its offerings: the Wailua River State Park, Fern Grotto, Wailua Falls, and other gems. Opaekaa Falls is an unforgettable photo op. A historic restored Hawaiian village lies on the riverbanks.
Be sure to find time for a leisurely stroll through Kapaa Town and its funky and fine shopping, including some great Hawaiian crafts, aloha-print shirts, jewelry and fine art objects.
Wherever you go, you'll quickly fall in love with our beautiful garden island of Kauai.
Come 'Live Aloha' on our Kauai Island-and pass it on!
