Beautiful house, fun times

  • 4 of 5

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful and modern house. The large deck which spans the entire width of the house makes it easy to entertain, as does the open floor plan. A little office nook provides a place to work while still spending time with others. The kitchen was well appointed, with spices and coffee on hand as well as two ovens and two dishwashers. We loved the pool table, the pontoon boat, and the fenced in area for dogs. It felt friendly and comfortable.

Dean's Friendly - A Beautiful Relaxing Home

  • 5 of 5

Mike and Sharon Dean’s lake home is very comfortable and beautiful with a great lake view both from within the home and from the wrap around deck. We celebrated my wife’s birthday with our two daughters and their husbands along with my mother for a total of seven people. There was more than enough room for all of us. The master suite with the walk-in shower accommodated my elderly mother. The kitchen was fully equipped and the arrangement of the expansive great room with its gas fire place, big screen TV and stereo system made for a enjoyable gather place for all of us. The availability of the pontoon boat and three kayaks allowed us to completely enjoy the lake.

We would highly recommend this home.

This is a wonderful property!

  • 5 of 5

This is a place that I could (and hopefully will!) go back to again and again and again! I only wish we could have stayed a few more days. It is a perfect set up for an extended family vacation or a girls' (or guys') get-together. Beautifully and comfortably outfitted with a magnificent wall of windows looking out over the lake, it is relaxing and reinvigorating at the same time. The kitchen is so well stocked it's like being at home and the entire house is immaculate. The nearby town of Marshall and the adjacent golf course/country club provide interesting diversions, although they may not be needed with the recreational options provided in and around this lovely lake house. (We did have a great lunch at Schuler's and an interesting visit to the Honolulu House. Would recommend both!) We so enjoyed learning about the family's history with the house and commend the exceptional way they blended the old with the new when they expanded. We're so grateful that they have chosen to share it with the vacation-rental community and that we had a chance to add fun memories at Dean's Friendly to our long history of girls' weekends.

Vacation at Lake House

  • 5 of 5

We had the best time at the Lake House! Everything you needed was there, towels, linens, dishes, pots and pans. The owner even had hand soap, dish and laundry soap, and even toilet paper, napkins, and paper towels. Even some kitchen staples. We brought most of this stuff with us, but came in handy if you forget something. Also lots of books, games, cd's, cards, lawn chairs, and water toys. The pontoon was huge and held my family of 15 and 1 dog. The lake is beautiful, sandy bottom close to house, and great raft with chairs to swim out to. Grand babies had fun catching bass, sunfish, frogs, turtles, and even a catfish. Also loved going tubing! The house is absolutely stunning with glass windows overlooking the lake and deck. Also a screened in porch. The house is beautiful, well furnished, very clean, bedrooms very roomy. The kids loved the basement with TV, pool table, game table, and laundry area. Also nice master bedroom with access to a doggie door to fenced in yard. Our Westie enjoyed herself as much as us! Upstairs are three bedrooms with a gorgeous master suite. Three and a halves bathrooms were great for all of us too! I can't say enough about this place, and hope to go back next summer. Thanks again Mike!💕🐟🐠🎣🌊🚣🏽🏊🌾🌻🐚🐸🐢Also lots of nice stores and restaurants in Marshall, and grocery store.
