House, 4 Bedrooms, 2.5 Baths, 8 Sleeps
The Gothic House is located on Perdido Key, a white quartz sand barrier island 30 minutes from downtown Pensacola and 15 minutes from Gulf Shores, Alabama. The Travel Channel rated Perdido Key as one of the 20 Most Beautiful Beaches in the World.
The exterior is a replica of a house built in the northeast around 1900. This house was built in 1979 and has weathered several hurricanes. The open spaces, gulf breezes, shaded porch and gazebo, and being just a few feet from the water make for a unique experience. The house has charm and character, resulting in a one-of-a-kind holiday.

We fell in love with this place!
Our family had a wonderful summer retreat here. The house is very charming and accommodating with considerable amenities. You will love it instantly. The gazebo and porch can't be praised enough. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Ms. Dorothy was a pleasure to "deal" with!
The Gothic House had lots of charm and personality
My family and I loved our stay at the Gothic House. Its close proximity to the beach was very convienent. The beach was fabulous. We loved the charm of the house and the screened in porch. It was roomy for our family of four. We were there to enjoy the beach and were able to do that. The beach was tranquil and not filled with so many tourists. The only thing missing was a grill. We would definitely stay here again.
Gothic House Made Memories for Our Family
Oh my! The pictures really don't do justice for this house. My family, which included my husband and I and 4 small children and both of our mothers (total 4 adults 4 kids) stayed here last summer and loved it! We enjoyed the beach right our the front door, no messing with elevators and tons of people sharing your condo, it was just us! We could wake up when we wanted it was so quiet, have our coffee in our pajamas on the back deck, then head right out to the beach for the day. If one of us needed to come back to the house for anything it was like a 3 minute trip back up there and there was a hammock and shady gazebo if we needed some cooling off. The outdoor shower was great for us to rinse the kids off before going inside. It was close to restaurants, we even cooked seafood at home one night and ate on the picnic table in the enclosed porch. We made tons of memories in the Gothic house! The beds were great, nice linens, the towels were nice too and everything was clean and tidy! There was lots of history to see here and we really enjoyed it! The only complaint during this trip was having to leave, oh and the jellyfish stings from the kids, but thankfully the house was fully stocked with vinegar when needed. Nice, quite, relaxing vacation and the owner was super sweet! We would definitely stay here again!
