I just wanted to let you know we had an awesome time! The cabin was great! We had all the things we needed and the kids had a ball. I believe you called and spoke to my niece who was visiting with us. Thanks for calling to make sure we were fine with everything. The kitchen had everything we could need. We will be going again and we plan to stay there. It was a lovely area and I am making my husband install a swing like yours on our porch (poor man!) Thanks again.

Very nice home base

  • 5 of 5

My husband, teenaged son, and I stayed here for four nights in July. We wanted to be in a private location and yet close to the Parkway. This cabin fulfilled both. We were five minutes from the main road, so getting anywhere was quick and easy. And yet we had complete privacy. The decks and porches are awesome. I loved that the hot tub is secluded and private. It's on a screened-in porch so you don't get bug bites, and there's a wood privacy panel so next door neighbors don't stare at you. The bottom level has a nice rec room with a private bedroom and bath. Our 16-year-old loved having the whole floor to himself. It's perfect for older kids or teens, or another couple. We don't generally cook on our vacations, but there is a nice kitchen and a grill right outside. We used the fridge and freezer, and the microwave and dishwasher. The living room furniture is comfortable for hanging out at night. My only suggestion might be to trim the shrubs in the driveway. They provide a lot of privacy, which is nice, but they make getting out very difficult - it's hard to see cars coming either way. Otherwise, I would definitely rent this cabin from this owner again. Very nice and very easy to deal with.

This place is so cool

  • 5 of 5

If we had to do over again, I wouldn't plan to leave the cabin. Pack in your groceries, everything you need is here. Two king beds, two hideaway couches. Plenty of room. The close location to Pigeon Forge (but not too close), screened in porches, hot tub, pool table, and country mountain decor make this a favorite for me. Never saw the peacocks. James provided precise details for easy check-in and check out. Thanks James!

Location - Location - Location is everything!

This was our second time in a year at this particular cabin. The location is prime - easy to get to Sevierville or Gatlinburg yet quiet and peaceful. I won't recreate the wheel by listing the benefits of this cabin but I will say that if you are looking for a comfortable place, in the right location at a good price - then this is the one for you. It is perfect for 2 and a dog or for 4 - or six with the pull out sofa. Owner is helpful and responds quickly. Be sure to go to breakfast at Reagan's - get the buffet, it's worth the price. Dinner close by try JT Hannah's or Bullfish - our favorite is The Chop House for Prime Rib. OK, now you know this is the place for your next vacation in to this neck of the woods.

Best cabin we ever stayed at. May 11-13 2016..

  • 5 of 5

We would like to thank the Hale family for providing their cabin for our rental. My wife and I along with two other friends spent three nights there and were pleased to find a most pleasant, welcoming home to stay in. Everything was in excellent working condition and exactly as promised. Mr. Hale was easily available to answer any questions. This cabin will always be our first choice for any return visits. Thank you again for your attention to detail. John and Maryann Shay.

Great cabin

  • 5 of 5

Location, location, location!! So close to Parkway, yet far enough way you can't hear it. Wonderful screened in deck on main floor , Comfortable beds, plenty of sitting area . The lower floor is excellent for another couple ( or kids) It has a pool table/game room, with sofa, sitting area. Separate king bedroom and bath., plus open deck. I love the stack washer/dryer is in bathroom on main floor. So convenient, Eagles ridge is very ,very well maintained. They cut grass twice in the week we were there (Always afternoon, no waking you up. :) There are only 2 steps up on porch, and you can park right in front. Easy unloading/loading car. and being close in, of course all paved roads, and city water. I have pointed out things I am always interested in since we have stayed in many cabins, ..way out in woods, up on mountains and in middle of town, roads, city water( well water can cause a problem, not always, but can) , parking, steps getting in, washer/dryer location, king beds . I have not mentioned it is cozy, gas fireplace, wonderfully decorated, And we could bring our fur baby. Mr Hale was so pleasant to work with. We rented 4 days before coming, no problem with him. I had a 100 questions, and he answered them all. You won't be disappointed staying here.

Owner's Response: I always enjoy talking with our guests. In some ways the new reservation system is extremely convenient, but you do loose a lot of personal interaction with guests. I love finding out who and where our guests are from. Our cabin isn't perfect! But it is a great place for families to go and have a good time. Thanks for your comments. James Hale
