Brick home with a beautiful, secluded, wooded back yard with a huge deck area and heated pool. Glassed in seasonal room with private changing area. The home is on a popular bike path. Just minutes from great downtown. A beautiful musical water fountain with nightly shows at dusk. Great beaches and pier walking. Each bedroom can sleep two people. The house has wifi, airconditioning, 4 tv's. Very clean.
I guess it"s about time I say something about Mr. Jeffs Lakeshore House. What a great place to stay for a vacation week. I have had the privilege of using this House for the last 5 years at Coast Guard festival. The house is always immaculate, and the back yard and three season room are beautiful. The House is a ten dollar cab ride to downtown, about an eight min. ride. There is a bike path right infront of the house. The pool is always heated, an quite frankly we always use it instead of hauling all our stuff to the beach.( which is about a six min. car ride. beautiful sandy beaches however. We"ll be there again this year! Thank you Mr. Jeff.
This is where you want to stay. Very tidy home (main living room is updated a bit from photos, flat screen, XM - that plays out by the pool!) and arboretum like backyard. The private pool itself is worth it! And the sunroom on a rainy day is a definate bonus. Grand Haven is a quaint little town with loads to do. Wonderful shops & restaurants, boardwalk, State Park (although we found a wonderfully private beach area at Rosy Mound Nature Area that is about a mile from the house!) and the musical fountain is a must see. This property is very centrally located to take day trips south to Saugatuck, South Haven or north to Ludington, Manistee and is about 20 minutes drive to Holland. We will definatly try to secure this property again next summer. And I must not forget to mention that the owner is a delight!
Very clean house and very well kept backyard! The kids loved the pool! Loved sitting in the sunroom relaxing with music. Perfect distance to ride bikes into town as well as the opposite direction on the bike path to Rosy Mound where there is a beautiful hiking path!
You will find the home VERY clean and nicely furnished. The backyard amenities are understated by the photos. The pool and deck area is spacious and well furnished. The attached three season room is great for eating, reading, or socializing. The lawn and garden area off the pool deck is filled with plants, flowers, and trees. The garage offers an extra stove and bar refrigerator. We stored our bikes, coolers, and strollers in the garage. The asphalt path pictured is a nice bike path. Downtown, beaches, and parks are just a short drive. We enjoyed our week in Grand Haven.
My family with 3 kids have rented this home for a week for 7 summers now. We love knowing how clean the house has always been. The enclosed porch is our favorite spot to enjoy the cool Michigan nights. Owner has always been attentive to any questions we may have. Very nice.
