Whether work or pleasure brings to you Santa Monica, you'll find this bright and airy two-story condominium perfectly situated in the heart of the Ocean Park beach community of Santa Monica; just a five minute walk to the surf and sand!

The two bedroom 1 1/4 bath unit is located in a small and quiet complex just six blocks from the beach. The open living space downstairs features a fully-stocked kitchen with great counter space, an adjacent dining area and tile floors throughout. The living room opens to a sunny outside patio; the perfect place to relax, soak up the sun, read a book or watch TV.

An open staircase leads to a relaxing retreat. The master bedroom has a queen size bed dressed in beautiful linens and plush comforter and pillows and offers plenty of closet space to unpack and settle in. The second bedroom has two twin extra-long beds that can be converted into a king bed upon request. There's also a full bathroom with bathtub and shower upstairs, plus a small toilet room downstairs.

If you’re combining work with pleasure, the condo offers flexible workspace. A writing desk is located in the second bedroom. In addition, the granite side table in the living room offers a second option to set up shop. Better yet, take it outside to the sunny patio…wireless internet is accessible throughout the unit.

We wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at your condo. It is a wonderfully well kept unit, with very comfortable beds. AND in a perfect location near the beach! A Very Special Place

This is a thank you letter to Denise and Ken for the month I spent in their condominium in Santa Monica. Unlike too many renters, they provided absolutely everything, and much more, than I could possibly have wanted. From the bathroom cabinet filled with shampoos, conditioners, shaving cream and sun screens, to games and boogie boards for kids. Since I prepared many of my meals, I was knocked out by the variety of bowls, pots and pans, kitchen tools and electronics. More cookware, glassware, silverware and every other kind of ware than I had ever seen.

The upstairs master bathroom with a Toto toilet and towels striped blue to match the robin's egg walls was flanked by two bedrooms. I set up my computer on the table in the guest room and often stopped working to switch on the small TV that shared it. The master bedroom, in addition to a very comfy queen-size bed, had a large closet, a wardrobe and a dresser with drawers that didn't stick. (Not always the case.) Both rooms were tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean.

Down the carpeted stairs a large flat-screen TV faced a handsome sofa and chairs. A convenient bathroom was tucked under the staircase. Out the front door was an enclosed patio where I often ate lunch in the sun. Breakfast I took at the round glass table off the kitchen.

For convenience the neighborhood is hard to beat. Three blocks in one direction is a major super market. But my favorite was the Whole Foods a 15 minute walk from the apartment. Ten minutes downhill on Ocean Park Boulevard is Main Street, to me the best in Santa Monica. A great farmers market with live music, a petting zoo for the kids and hot and cold seasonal foods on Sundays. A variety of interesting restaurants and owner-operated small shops make Main Street charming all week long. The famous miles-long beach and the Pacific are three blocks away.

Finally, after long days of exploring LA, I always looked forward to coming home, because that is what Denise and Ken had made it.

Great place

A fantastic option for enjoying Ocean Park and the greater Los Angeles area!

The condo was great. Everything is very well kept, and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. The natural light and open layout make it a great place to hand out when you aren't out and about in the area. The owners were very responsive as well.

All in all, it far exceeded our expectations!

really great place

Lovely condo right in the heart of Santa Monica. Walking distance to many restaurants and attractions including the fab.Santa Monica Pier. The condo is very nicely furnished, well equipped and there was plenty of space for four adults. Denise and Ken are very welcoming and nothing was too much Trouble and they really made sure our stay was pleasant and very enjoyable.

We would really recommend a visit! :-)

Did We Ever 'Luck Out' Finding Twin Palms Condo!

If you are interested in visiting Santa Monica and being part of the Ocean Park community, then Twin Palms condo is for you. The owners can't do enough to make your experience enjoyable. The location and the condo is perfect. Great walk or bike ride to the beach. Shops, restaurants and bars on Main Street make you not want to travel into downtown LA. (Next time we won't be renting a car). The 3rd Street Promenade is very close if you want to shop, dine or 'star gaze'. And Venice Beach is just down the street for the 'happy hour' sunset.
