We stayed at the cabin the first weekend in October. Yes the driveway is steep, but we managed just fine. My family loves this place! First, I really enjoyed talking with Patti, who is very nice. The cabin was clean and well taken care of. Our dogs sure did love adventuring around the property and going down the trail and to the water. It is a beautiful area that the cabin is in, peaceful, but yet not far from Boone and other areas. We only stayed two nights and wish we would have stayed at least a week. We plan on going back to the cabin. I have recommended this place to my friends. I can't wait to go back!!!!! Patti, thanks for sharing your wonderful place!!!

Breath Taking !!!

  • 5 of 5

Bless you Patti. You were so wonderful in working with us on such a short notice. This home can only be described as breath taking ! Everything was so clean and well supplied. Directions to house and everything that we searched for in finding this house were true and met all expectations. We enjoyed having stores close to us and only being a few miles from App. State.

The early morning view, words cannot express the beauty. Anyone looking for a true get away will be completely pleased with choosing this home.

Our babies Starbucks and Gypsy had a lot of fun walking up and down the driveway to the home. ( Thank you for allowing pets, this made the whole family worry free.) We will return!!!

Great stay!

  • 5 of 5

We recently stayed in the cabin over Christmas with our two kids and Yorkies. Upon our arrival, the house was very clean and had everything we needed for a week’s stay (including cleaning supplies). The cabins in a great location close to both Blowing Rock and Boone. The cabin sits on a nice private piece of property that is very quiet; we even saw some deer early one morning. There is a nice fire pit outside in the back with chairs. Patti has a great grill on the deck along with chairs and table so you can enjoy the outside experience. There’s a nice hiking trail directly across from the end of the driveway that we all enjoyed. Patti is extremely accommodating and fast to reply to e-mail. We will return!

Wonderful Stay!

  • 5 of 5

We recently stayed at "Graysland" cabin and had a wonderful stay. Location was excellent and close to everything we wanted to visit over the weekend. We especially enjoyed the hiking trails directly across the road from the driveway, as well as the fire pit. I'm glad we came without snow on the ground as the driveway was steep, but nothing you couldn't handle with 4-wheel drive. The owners were extremely nice and accommodating. We will keep this cabin in mind the next time we can visit the area. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Great Cabin!

  • 5 of 5

We recently stayed at this adorable cabin, and had a very enjoyable time. The location is perfect, as it is close to everything, but also nestled in a private, peaceful forest. We had a repair issue when we first checked in, and contacted the housekeeper who was incredibly responsive and helpful. We could not have had a better experience with the owner - Patti is wonderful. The steep driveway is just a part of the "adventure", and charm of the cabin. Patti-thank you for sharing your cabin, we hope to visit again in the near future.
