Excellent Location

  • 4 of 5

Had a group of 7 guys from the States up to Montreal for a 3-day trip. The apartment was as advertised. It was very clean, although we didn't plan on using the kitchen, a large refrigerator was nice to have. We purchased the optional parking spot too which was peace of mind. The location was fantastic – we could walk everywhere – Old Montreal, St-Laurent, Crescent, etc. so we saved a lot on cab fare. Wi-fi was also extremely helpful to have since most couldn't incur roaming charges, and the building was very quiet, with solid walls to hold in the sound.

On a separate note, it couldn't have been more of a pleasure renting from the owner. We met her a few times over the weekend. Once by accident and the second time in response to an issue with our Wi-fi, which was resolved almost immediately. She also left a book of restaurants to try which they created themselves. We tried their first recommendation for brunch at L’Avenue which was one of the best brunches I’ve had in recent memory.

Lastly, it was a HUGE bonus to not worry about towels, linens, shampoo and soap. There were at least 2 towels available per person and everything including the pillows and pillow cases were very clean upon arrival.

Perfect apartment

  • 5 of 5

I stayed in this apartment and another in the same building (and same owner), with some friends for two nights. The apartment(s) is(are) as advertised. Very centrally located, large, bright, clean. It is unfortunate that the building looks as though it survived a war because the units (at least the two we were in) are quite nice, much nicer than what the building looks like on the outside.

Very easy booking, confirmation, check-in and check-out process. One recommendation: get the parking. The owner offers parking in the building for an additional fee. If I were to stay again (which is very likely), I would take that option. Street parking in Montreal is a bit strange as far as permit times go, what part of the street is permit or not permit parking. Avoid the confusion and park in the building then walk everywhere.

Thanks again!

Owner's Response: Hello George, I am very happy that you and your guests have enjoyed your stay in our units and your visit in Montreal. I need to apologize for the building appearance. The building owner is currently doing renovation in the building (re-painting and changing the carpet in all corridors), this is the reason why the building looks like a war zone!!! hahaha We are very happy having the opportunity to accommodate you and your friends. We are looking forward to serve you again in the future!!!! Take care!!! Ivy

Amazing girls reunion weekend in Montreal

  • 5 of 5

This 2 bedroom apartment was absolutely perfect! It was exactly as described, and the location was fabulous - in the heart of downtown Montreal, close to St. Laurent, Old Montreal, and McGill. We were seven friends from graduate school getting together for a reunion, and this place was just perfect for us. It was very spacious, clean, and well kept. The owner even had a guest book with information about the apartment, restaurants, and nearby attractions. I would highly recommend Fruit Folie on St. Denis (about a 20 min walk) for brunch - we went there the first day, loved it so much that we went back!! I

Excellent Communication

  • 5 of 5

Location, Location, Location was superb. Conveniently located to everything. There was a "deb" (grocery store) right downstairs. From check-in to check-out, everything was self-explanatory.

The apartment was clean and spacey. I hadn't realized how much space there was in the living room. We were a party of 5, first time in Montreal and it was a great place to come back to after a long nights.

For the price, you really can't beat the location of this place. The owners were extremely helpful and accommodating if we needed them, but we didn't.

Would definitely come back again!

We just spent a week in t...

  • 5 of 5

We just spent a week in this apartment with our two kids and enjoyed it very much.

The first thing we love is its location. Being in downtown makes it perfect for both leisure and business travelers. It is close to metro station and also has an indoor parking lot. No matter which way we decided to get around in the city, it was so convenient.

The apartment itself is comfortably furnished and nicely decorated. It is surprisingly spacious. Our toddler son had a lot of space to play around in the living room, while the master bedroom has plenty of room for our infant daughter's play pen.

We also love the apartment's cleanliness. We prefer its wood/tile flooring much more than the typical hotel carpet. It made us feel clean enough to let our infant daughter to play on it.

The kitchen is very well equipped. All you need to prepare simple meals is there. Most of the appliances (microwave, toaster, fridge, toaster oven) are even new! Being able to have some meals in the apartment saved us a lot of time and money.

We highly recommend it. We will definitely stay there again during our next Montreal trip!
