About Erik Becker

I was born and raised in Lansing, Michigan. I am a die-hard Wolverine fan, having earned my Bachelor degree in Economics from the University of Michigan. I moved to Arizona in 1994 for the warm, dry climate. I purchased the home in Rocky Point in 2007 after making a handsome profit on the sale of my home (thank you real estate bubble!). I currently live in the Phoenix area with my wife, Tammy, and our three kids. We love the warm, dry climate of Arizona and enjoy the similar climate of Rocky Point, with the added advantage of having an ocean nearby. We are both avid scuba divers and love to dive with the sea lions at Bird Island. We've been down to Rocky Point nearly 100 times and have never had any issues. The locals and expats are all as friendly as can be. It is truly a fun and laid back atmosphere. We are excited for every chance we get to visit.

Why Erik Becker chose Puerto Penasco

I fell in love with the place as soon as I saw it. The location was ideal, being close to restaurants and stores and within walking distance of the beach. It was brand new when I bought it and I appreciated that it was built by an American who actually lives across the street. I like the enclosed, gated driveway, the walled in back yard, and the large cupula (dome) in the living room. But most of all, I feel at peace when I enter the front door. It's just such a cozy, comfortable space. For me, it's not just a house or investment property, it's HOME. That's why I ask anybody who wants to stay there: Please treat the place like it's your home... Thank you!

Exactly as presented in the photos.

I spent 3 months at the casita and enjoyed my time there very much. The house is exactly as the posting says; clean and cool. The yards are very small but big enough to park securely, BBQ and spend time outdoors with your pet. I would come back in a heartbeat.

Home away from home

This house is very comfortable with the owner anticipating what guests might want.

It is located off a major street, but no need to worry about noise. It is private and tranquil yet only a 5 minute walk from the Las Conchas playa.

It has Internet access and NetFlixs, plus a TV in one of the bedrooms for DVD viewing.

If you want to prepare meals all you need is at hand. We purchased delicious juice oranges cause there was a juicer and prepared fresh shrimp and other local fish with ease.

The owner and also his local agent reply to requests quickly and the price is right for you get.

This stay was much more delightful than being in a hotel or motel with few private amenities and tipping.....

Very clean it has everything we need the place its perfect near good places to eat close to the malecon the beach 3 min drive we enjoy very much and were planing next year vac to the same house if is possible thank you very much you have a very nice house we ❤️It

Off Fremont beach is a drive away

When we first checked in I was a little disappointed because the house is a ways from the beach. It's off Fremont and the closest beach is San Clemente trailer park. The location worked well for us drinking in old port and Cholla Bay and not having to drive out to Los conchas at the end of the evening.

The house itself is very nice and well maintained. It's stocked with paper towels toilet paper soap things that a lot of rocky point rentals don't include.

The wifi was fast and welcomed

The gated parking area felt safe

Completely awesome!! My new first contact when heading down.

Could not have had a better experience. I typically rent the Sandy Beach condos for my family, which is now a thing of the past. Erik's home filled every need or want I could imagine. It's quiet, secure, well equipped, comfortable, roomy and beautifully decorated, Spanish style. Minutes from Al Capones, Reggie's, the beach, water & ice store, and even the popular Malecon. I'm booking again soon for Bike Week with my brother in November, and the wife and I are coming back in a couple weeks, hoping the house is available.

On a further note, which I think is important, the check-in and out process was so simple and fast. When I stopped to get the keys for check-in, Dee was all over it, took like 30 seconds. Outstanding service. Check-out could have been even faster but I wanted to have a conversation with her and share my great experience, so we talked for a while. She's an awesome gal.

Bottom line is this. If you can secure the house, for up to 6 people, it's well within your best interest to book this one, you will not be disappointed.

Rates are subject to change until your reservation is confirmed. A $75 processing fee will be charged if your reservation is canceled 30 days or more prior to your arrival date. In addition, Homeaway will not refund their service fee. Therefore, you will be refunded all amounts paid less the $75 cancellation fee and Homeaway service fee. All payments made will be forfeited if your reservation is canceled less than 30 days from your arrival date. Check-in is at 4:00 PM unless prior arrangements are made. Check-out is 12:00 Noon on day of departure. Flexibility on check-in and check-out times is dependent on our schedule of renters and the schedule of our cleaning crew.
