Our jaws dropped in awe at this AWESOME house!!!

  • 5 of 5

Owner has great communication. Very flexible and accommodating. At arriving at this gem well the roads can be rough as there were rough roads and looks of snakish curves but it was a beautiful scenic adventure and I had no problems getting there. Awesome small graveyard and the house made us feel like "Queens on the highest hill" The house is breathtaking and huge. Very artistic taste and very clean. The outside view is ALSO breathtaking as it is panoramic. I wished I had a longer stay here. The only issue was the wifi/internet which wasn't really great. The weather for star gazing was not excellent but I can picture how awesome it would be to gaze upon the stars in this beautiful masterpiece of a hoping for another adventure here as I would not hesitate to plan another vacation here!!!

Long weekend at the Villa - Little West Kill

  • 5 of 5

Three friends and I enjoyed a wonderful weekend at "the Villa" for Memorial Day weekend. The house is brilliant, the views stunning, and it's a perfect spot to catch up with friends, BBQ, have a few cold beers, and explore the area. We loved the seclusion of the place, the fire-pit was going each night and the outdoor shower was bliss. The only thing that was missing (and quite minor at that..) were some window shades in two of the bedrooms to keep the early sun at bay. The owner was very reachable, gave great directions and easy to work with. We'll be coming back for sure...thanks for the great weekend Tom!

Everything was Perfect

  • 5 of 5

Five friends and I stayed at the Villa at Little West Kill in early November, and it was an amazing experience. The house is a little off the beaten track (part of why we chose it), but the owner's directions were clear and easy to follow, even at night.

The house itself is gorgeous and sits on an equally beautiful piece of land. Because it's on a hill, the house has incredible panoramic views, accentuated by the huge windows and cool features like the outdoor shower and the shower in the master bedroom, which is next to a large window overlooking the surrounding countryside -- you get that fun exhibitionist-y feeling with total privacy.

The whole place was spotless and comfortably decorated. We especially liked the kitchen, which is well designed and well-stocked with appliances, pans, etc. -- and the knives were unusually good for a vacation rental.

We didn't explore Prattsville, so I can't comment much on local restaurants or sights (although we really liked the excellent, spooky graveyard that's on the left just before you get to the driveway for the house), but there are plenty of stores around for buying supplies and local treats.

The owner was very communicative and helpful, too, and he left us a bottle of wine as a welcome gift.

All in all, a perfect rental experience. I highly recommend the house to anyone who wants a quiet getaway in a perfect house in a beautiful part of the world.

Beautiful modern cabin

  • 5 of 5

The place was beautiful it had wifi than goodness cause your signal may vary depending on your carrier. Beautiful full glass panel wall to the rear of the house, and nice sound system indoors and outdoors. Loved the outdoor fire pit, and indoor gas lit fireplace. Overall great experience, and the seclusion was a nice experience.

Little West Kill is a gorgeously designed modern house with great open spaces, light and views. The house is warm, well equipped and great for two couples or a families. We loved it!! Tom was friendly, relaxed and very responsive. The whole experience was easy and incredibly relaxing. Can't wait to go back!
